Best in the city!! We’ve been here well over 5 times now for alterations on wedding gowns, to full-suits, to simple pant hems. The work is ALWAYS GREAT, very reasonably priced, and on time.So thankful we found NB Tailoring & Alterations!

Learned it's hard to find a good tailor, but Nancy is the best! Engaging and kind, she offers great suggestions and knows fashion (I'm clueless). Reasonable turn around times and prices. Couldn't recommend NB Tailoring more!

I had a jumpsuit for my wedding rehearsal dinner I needed altered. It was kinda funky as it needed some unique tailoring and it had lace! I already had someone tell me they couldn't do what I wanted, so I was so happy when Nancy agreed to take it on. She did an incredible job! She had me try on before giving it to her and when I came to pick it up, just to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

I scheduled an appointment to get measured for a new blazer and pants. And unfortunately, Nancy was kind of rushed from the moment I arrived. And overall she didn't do a very good job. In fact, she did such a poor job of taking my measurements that I decided to go to a different tailor on the drive home. Even though I showed up without an appointment, the second tailor was much more considerate. And sure enough, a couple of the measurements from Nb Tailoring around my shoulders were off by over an inch. I understand that small business owners have a lot to deal with, but there were no other customers in the store when I arrived at Nb Tailoring, and I called ahead to schedule the appointment. So I think she had ample opportunity to warn me in advance if she didn't have five minutes to take my measurements. Also, I'm happy to pay people for their work, but I think it's relevant that the second tailor didn't charge me for the five minutes it took him to measure me. Whereas the owner of Nb Tailoring asked me to pay $20 for the 3-4 minutes she spent measuring me. I wouldn't mind if she did a good job, but it was kind of frustrating to pay her for poor work.

I had just gotten a leather jacket a few day's ago and turned out was to long, I loved the way it looked, but because it was to long it didn't look right. I brought it here and with in 2 days they completely readjusted the sleeves and made it fit perfectly. Very professional, and nice person. Would definitely recommend not just for alterations but the lady also runs a boutique.

Shop is actually across the street from the Grant Ave garage Auto repair shop. Google maps incorrectly shows the shop around the corner, of Filbert but that is not accurate. This is right on Grant Street, next door to Macchiarini creative design
