Stopped in before heading to the airport with no idea what I was looking for. The guy in the shop gave me a quick run down on different wines and where they come from and what would go best with a meal I wanted to make for my wife and I. All that and he found something EXACTLY in my budget.Perfect way to end my work trip , will absolutely come back next time I’m in SFO

Great find, situated near Union Square & Chinatown, on the outskirts of the Tenderloin. This is not a scary walk, but it can be challenging because of the hills. Believe me, it's worth the hike, & good exercise.Wow, the guy at the counter was super friendly & helpful. I was looking for a hard to find bottle of Lillet Blanc, which they don't carry. He went out of his way to look up where I could find a bottle. The place is stacked with a good selection of California wines. You get personal service to find a wine in your price range. I saw anything from $30 to $230 bottles. Locals get 10% off.This is a great place to go for a housewarming, dinner party, or special occasion, as they have chocolates, jewelry, wine stoppers, soap, etc for gifts. Destination shopping.

I have been part of their Cabernet Club for almost 5 years now. Amazing Cabs! Some from small vineyards with outstanding quality. Forget about Opus One… this place will offer you much better quality wines for a lot less than $400 a bottle. The club wines will be pricy from $65 to $120 per bottle but worth every penny. the quality is really outstanding! I believe Don’s knowledge/experience in the Nappa area is beyond what I have ever expected. I just love their Cabernet Club! ❤️? If you are looking for an outstanding Cabernet club join this one, you will not regret if you are a real Cabernet lover. I promise you! ?

Took a respite from the rain while weekending in San Francisco. Nice selection of less common wines that speak to their relationships in the wine industry. Andy was a pleasure to talk to & he has great depth of knowledge and a passion for their offerings. Highly recommend for a special bottle and I look forward to returning.

Excellent- just like the other reviews. I don’t know much about wine but am trying to learn and the lovely person with a septum piercing (god I’m bad with names) was so nice and knowledgeable! I felt like I got the perfect gift for my mom. I wasn’t going to buy one for myself but I felt so comfortable that I had to grab one for me. Both people there today were great- will return. Thanks!

A 50 year old winery exchange in San Fran city. If looking for good Napa wines and winery is out of the visit list, they have great selections here, owner Don is knowledgeable and able to share his wine expertise and knowledge too!

This is a superbly-curated wine shop in the heart of the Tenderloin district. They carry a rather small, but impeccably selected lineup of wines, mostly from California. They have a few "unicorn" labels---very rare, very expensive.Don was experienced and very patient as we perused the possibilities. He offered some recommendations given our preferences and budget and we walked away with a handful of treasures.Napa Valley Winery Exchange is the epitome of what a wine shop should be: careful curation of product and excellent customer service
