First of all - for all the bad reviews:This is not Ritz, not Riu, it's a motel!! If you don't like motels pay $$$ and go to 5 star resort.Everything was great: location, clean hotel, breakfast simple but good, staff - friendly and helpful.I will definitely come back.Rooms: Clean and comfy.Safety: Felt very safe.Walkability: I love to walk so location was very good for me.

Lovely visit. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Lovely, helpful and informative staff. Parking is safe and secure; just leave your car in the lot, buy a day pass from the SF MUNI public transport and explore the beauty and wonder that is San Francisco.Will definitely return and definitely patronize this motel.Safety: Secure parking; park your car here, hop on a bus instead and explore the city.

Good : The rooms are clean and has parking for the guests.Bad : Slow wifi, elevator broken during days of the stay (may 2024), poor breakfast (only coffee and toast) in a room without tables so you must take it to the room.Overall: Bad experience

The towels and the bed were clean but as for the rest smell of extreme humidity bed vrmt old and not comfortable it looks like an old hotel leave to itself the walls of the entrance door full of splash paste the unmaintained corridor there had m&m on a frame in the passage when we arrived on Friday and on Sunday when we left it was still not surprising that he made us pay when we arrived. in short I do not recommend!!!

Great location. The rooms are more than adequate for the price. Wifi not great. Breakfast, the minimum is given but it is one of the rare hotels in this range to offer it so we will not complain. Very friendly staff.

I was not on vacation, I just needed a safe, clean hotel for two nights. I was very happy with the Motel Capri. The room was clean, safe, quiet and had a good TV and refrigerator that I could keep food and drinks in while I stayed. The shower was great, with good water pressure and lots of hot water. The staff was very friendly, the location was perfect. Close to lots of good places to walk to, easy to stay there without needing to drive. I left my truck in their safe parking lot most of the time. Will be going back next time I need a hotel in the city!

Very clean! The room was small but comfortable, with microwave & fridge. Felt safe, it was quiet and in a nice area. Free parking but easy to walk places, although lots of uphill. Recommend!

Good value for money, friendly welcome. Clean room and very comfortable bed. Housekeeping every day if you wish. Actually no elevator, basic but correct breakfast. Fridge and microwave in the rooms + coffee machine. In any case, no bad surprises for us, apart from the slightly noisy upstairs neighbors. Big advantage of the hotel: the surrounding streets are very quiet, there is no traffic noise like on Lombard St.

Motel Capri has a good location, I liked it a lot, cozy rooms, cable tv, good breakfast, but when we arrived (and left) the elevator wasn’t working, so we had to carry our luggage all the way to the third floor. Also the Wi-Fi signal was very weak and hard to connect, so I couldn’t use it. Good experience but I wouldn’t recommend it.
