“Friendly husband and wife run the shop. We were there for our toddler's passport and were in and out quickly. My husband and I initially took a DIY passport photo and printed it at home, but it got rejected. We decided to get it done professionally, so we could get our son's passport done in time before a trip. I would recommend this place! $18 for 2 printed photos photo got approved and we received his passport in the mail.”

“When I brought my new laptop in because I couldn't access my documents, Eduard provided reassurance and technical support. He went above and beyond to eliminate and re-install programs, and stayed late to answer every question I had. He did extra research and spent time explaining how I can clean up my folders. I am more than satisfied with his work ethic and technical knowledge. Thank you, Eduard.”

“Really friendly and thorough. I came inn o a weekday morning to have my passport photo taken. I didn't catch the man's name, but he was really helpful and patient. He made sure I liked my passport photo before printing it out and went over all of the steps needed to process an expedited passport renewal. He even provided me with a prepaid label so I could just drop it at the post office when I had gathered all my docs. For folks still masking indoors, he was respectful of that and seemed to model the customer's behavior. Have a mask? He'll put his on. Don't have a mask? He'll take his off. Great to have such helpful services in the neighborhood, without the long lines.”

“Hello Y'ALL low-raters / under-raters who cause nothing but a serious interruption damaging certain businesses' way of delivering their precious goods or services to us; and whenever a particular business' main concept is nutrition related, if I KNOW that they are doing a really great job, I NATURALLY WANT TO ADVOCATE for them IF I WITNESS THAT they are challenged by words of INJUSTICE. I guess that is simply how my gratitude to those kinds of good businesses wants to make itself, HEARD THROUGH MY WORDS. It is almost impossible for me to ever be able to UNDERSTAND that certain types of people do shop certain supermarkets which are publicly already known to be on the pricier side on a wide range of products they uniquely offer (That Uniqueness BEING their very justification for their overall pricing strategy, perhaps?) - SO ABSOLUTELY FOR A REASON - yet they do STILL shop in those places, actually knowing that TRUTH in such conscious awareness which although, they choose to use to be destructive, simply because of the ULTIMATE FEELING of a selfish regret that they feel for having initially not wanted to make a little bit more of an actual effort to shop the grocery store of their heart's choice, instead they wished for the closest supermarket to their home to offer the lowest prices in town; knowing that they QUITE LIKELY wouldn't! I wonder if people ever consider appreciating the logistics organization that such small businesses facilitate to literally be able to provide great quality food, in your hood, which does not happen to be that close to any other grocery store within a given range of a mile!.. SO WHOSE PROBLEM DO YOU THINK THAT IT WOULD BE, THAT ENTIRELY UNFAIR & UNTRUTHFUL LOW OVERALL RATING FOR THIS ONE AMAZING OF A NUTRITION PROVIDER?*AND IF THEY ARE PRICY; YOU HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO COMPLAIN PUBLICLY ABOUT THAT, based on "WHAT" exactly..?WERE YOU FORCED TO SHOP THERE? WHAT'S THE VERY REASON OF YOUR DISSATISFIED STATE OF MIND, SUCH REASON THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO EMPTY YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS ON SUCH A NEIGHBORHOOD GEM OF A BUSINESS?*Yes, they are pricy. But who gives you the right to complain about it? Were you forced to shop there? Well, if that REALLY and quite ridiculously happens to be your case, then you should have already called 911 to complain about it / report the crime.***YOU WANTING TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD, YET NOT BEING ABLE TO AFFORD IS A YOU PROBLEM.***Businesses which earned my trust do not need to hire me as their word-of-mouth advertiser; since that kind of a SERVICE provided by a satisfied customer could only be one of the greatest ways of them wanting to say and indeed saying a sincerely heartfelt "Thank You!" to the provider of that gratifying service. To me, that is simply how or what it is.On pre-pandemic days, where at times I've worked such shifts that at times totaled 16 hours, requiring me to work like 6 days in a row mostly due to scheduling that had to bear layoffs, particularly this Mollie Stone's phenomenally delicious and highly nutritious chicken breast and turkey sandwiches literally saved my life countless mornings. As a person who would barely ever prefer to buy or eat deli food - Hey, those sandwiches were for me like a total exception among the types of product types which are typically found in aisles I would typically never feel the need to check out throughout my brief and goal-oriented (Not process) grocery shopping. If for any reason you are out of alternatives to get anything better in your system, keep the Mollie Stone's in the Castro in mind; not only for the sandwich varieties they offer; but also a very meditteranean boutique grocery store kinda looking, charming cheese section of theirs, which rest assured; will cast the very first initial spell on you (As you walk into the store through its only door) putting that yummy lookin' brie or goat cheese on your shopping list; even if you won't be getting it, at that particular visit; acting as a reason to dream about it and then go back to finally G”

“The staff here is very friendly. They were open on Thanksgiving when I had an urgent need and Christine was so helpful. I was really grateful! The pharmacists have always been helpful too. Yes, most merchandise is locked, but considering the neighborhood, homeless and rampant theft I can't blame them.”

“It's a hole I the wall. Quickest in and out to get ur money orders, pay almost all utilities and credit card bills. I like the stank to this place that keeps you big ole dummies away..... It's tight.”

“I enjoyed coming to this Safeway in the Richmond district. I bought the $5 lb deal for the chicken wings & drumsticks today and really enjoyed it. The worker let me order 1/2 lb teriyaki and 1/2 lb bbq. I ended up liking the teriyaki flavor more, so I'm glad he was accommodating. I appreciate how he came to help after seeing a line for the chicken. I also really liked the cherry ice cream here. I walk here often from home to rent DVDs from Redbox and do some grocery shopping. Thankful for how the Richmond has a good choice of grocery stores, especially after hearing how the Safeway in the Fisherman's Wharf is closing. Safeway is awesome with the app that gives free weekly deals.”

“Good produce. Good selection of other stuff. Good butcher for sure. One thing to watch out for is that certain items can be very expensive. If that doesn't bother you then Mollie's is a great grocery store.”

“This Walgreens has been here forever, service is great, they always have whatever I need, but especially if you need passport photos, this is the place to do it. Rory and I suspect anybody else assisting actually know what they're doing and will make sure that you have an appropriate photo to send in with your application. Highest marks for service.”

“What the f you need a review on a supermarket for? It's a supermarket it has all the things you need. The fresh produce like apples and bananas are alright, bananas are usually green. They recently started sourcing their apples from a new place, and they're yummy. They got a kombucha section which I appreciate. The 5 star is for the lady who helped me out when I dropped a dozen eggs by the self check out like a foolish fool, she made no big deal out of it and got me new ones and had me on my way with my face red asf. They got a good drinks section, I was able to find some port, Lambrusco, beer some okay wine. It's no total wine tho.”

“This location is small but you get what you need and get out! And they will have more inventory on certain items. Like today, they had more cough drops than the location on San Bruno Ave. I was happy and got 2 more bags!”

“I am in the city for my husband's surgery and forgot earbuds. I walked down to this Walgreens and was met at the door by the NICEST young man who is the security guard. I know he's not employed by Walgreens, but they got lucky when he was posted here. Such a personable young person is hard to find. Good for you, young man!!”

“This is a pretty decent Safeway. Small selection of organic produce but you can still find the common ones that most people need. The aisles seem really narrow or maybe it's just me. Most of the positive energy I'm giving for this Safeway is the fact that I was able to find those Safeway Hash Browns! Not all Safeway have them and I've checked 2 others recently and they didn't have them so I was really happy to find some here. They arent as many hash Browns as there were before but theyre a little bigger in size. You get your usual selection of stuff. It has a deli and hot foods sections like other SafewaysThe parking lot is above the Safeway and theres a huge elevator and some stairs that lead to the store. Employees seemed friendly and checkout was quick (but I did go on a Thursday afternoon). Overall decent experience and would come again if I'm in the area.”
