I have been a patient at Walgreens and here for several years. The waiting room is comfortable and has always been a pleasant experience. I love the great artwork. The staff is professional, courteous, and makes certain that I am receiving five star quality experience....

This is review of MW as a vaccine provider only.I first came here after a doctor friend of mine told me this is a great place for getting the under 5 Covid vaccine for our son. Omg this place is 10x better than Walgreens. While you do have to fill out info ahead of time online, upon appointment time there is no more paperwork and no need to line up. Also it's super clean and ppl actually smile here. Not crowded at all. Now our whole family get our shots here.

Ups and downs with Mission Wellness. While they do check in, they don't keep regular track of Rx schedules, so it's a bit up to you to remind them when they forget one has come due. This is easy when your life depends on it. Protocol shifts every six months or so with how they notify; For a long while, it was phone calls. Now they text message, and even though I'm set for delivery, I get a confirmation every time that my order is "ready for pick-up."A few months this summer have been especially tricky: living in the Sunset, delivery drivers often come out later here and finish their nearby route earlier. I missed a delivery in June completely when it ran late, and no one followed up to get it to me in days that followed. Today they were about 2 1/2 hours past their delivery window. It really is mostly lucky I work from home and often stay home, too. But that's mostly luck.On the positive side: It's a delivery service! And for a long while it has been covered by my public health insurance. I do not expect that to last forever, so I'm taking advantage. Customer service is always nice. I don't feel endangered with HIPPA things- they usually don't make me say aloud what's in my order etc. And texting is actually a nice way to avoid lots of routine phone call nagging. So I enjoy it. But I sense management here and thus, employee pay here could be better. I had a typical delivery person for a year or more and now it feels like a regular rotation. It is always someone different I don't recognize who calls or texts. But these are, admittedly, very first-world issues than the long snake of a line I see constantly at my local Walgreens. I feel more grateful than irritated.

I went in for a COVID test in December. On the website, it says Mission Wellness will bill your insurance. When I got there, they said we don't do that, you have to pay upfront and then file a claim with your insurance. So I did. Then, they submitted a claim after the fact to my insurance for more than the amount I paid.

This pharmacy has serious staffing and communication issues. The first problem I had with them happened in 2020 when I realized my prescriptions had only been filled 10 times and not 12 or once a month. It took some research, as my prescriptions were not being filled at the same time every month. Unfortunately, it did take some time for me to notice because some hospital stays in 2019 had (thankfully) provided me with a cushion of meds. As anyone who has spent any time in the hospital knows, the hospital provides you with your medications during your stay. It wasn't until my cushion was nearly exhausted that I realized something wasn't right and that's when realized the issue. I also had delivery issues where they would say a particular medication had been delivered yet I never received it. I happen to live in an apartment building that has a front desk, which is staffed 24/7 and that front desk staff signs for all deliveries and logs them into their own logbook and there would often be discrepancies. When this would happen the pharmacy would have to file a missing delivery claim with my insurance company and I would have to wait for a new authorization to be issued in the meantime, somebody was stealing my medication and I know it wasn't anybody that works where I live. More often than not when a prescription would run out of refills they would simply not contact my doctor's office and just not refill that particular prescription even though it may have been medication that I have been taking for years. It could have been one of the very important medications I take daily to control my seizures, high blood pressure, neuropathy or HIV. It didn't matter to them. If it was out of refills, it was out of refills and they couldn't be bothered to contact my doctor's office to request additional refills. Lastly, I switched to a Medicare Advantage plan for 2022 and I spoke to a gentleman in December and let him know that I would no longer be using them for my pharmacy needs because I was switching to the mail order pharmacy provided by my new insurance company. Lo and behold January 2022 comes around and I receive a phone call because the credit card they have on file had expired and they want to know how I plan to pay for my deductible. I explained to the woman on the phone that I was no longer using their services because I had switched to a Medicare Advantage plan and would be using their mail order pharmacy. She was rather short and rude with me before hanging up. It's now the last day of February and I receive another telephone call from Mission Wellness Pharmacy and the gentleman tells me he has a few questions about my prescriptions. At this point I am doubly perturbed because had I stayed with them I would once again be getting my prescriptions filled late because it's the last day of the month when in fact it would have been necessary to fill them at the beginning of the month. I'm also very annoyed because clearly the ball was dropped yet again when it comes to communicating that I am no longer their customer. My advice? Look elsewhere for your pharmacy needs or be ready to be extremely proactive to ensure your medications are being filled in a timely manner each month and that they do not skip any medications simply because you are out of refills and they don't feel like calling your doctor's office for refills.

The worst pharmacy I have ever been receiving medication. Delivering medications to the home is always complicated. This is the third time I have had problems like this. Last month I received my medications three days after I finished my last dose. And yesterday I called early to ask for my medications to be sent home and today is Saturday and I still haven't received them, knowing that delivery doesn't work on Saturday. Horrible this situation the truth. I don't know what's going on with their employees, but I think they should improve their customer service and be more punctual. I don't have to keep calling to ask for my medicines. They know perfectly well that they must send my medications to my home every month.

Quick and painless! Came in for my COVID-19 booster shot and the process was incredibly easy.Online forms to fill out so you don't have to stand around, easy check-in outside, and friendly staff. I hate needles (irrational fears yay) and their staff did a great job distracting me from it.

Fantastic service, easy to use. Came in for my COVID-19 booster and got everything for paperwork done online. No wait to check in on a Saturday, and I was in-and-out before my appointment was even scheduled! Thoroughly recommended, painless experience!
