Back when Local Mission Market was open , i used to head there sometimes for a sandwhich or an after work beer . It's crazy how life is , now i live near by actually across the street from this store . I love their sandwhiches don't know at what time they start making them but they sure are delicious .

Good sandwich made by a nice guy. He is a one man show. He made my food while receiving deliveries and stocking the shelves. I admire the hard work. I will be back.

Full disclosure: These guys are literally across the street from me. That being said, Omar and company are the absolute best grocers in the area. Always have a smile and always ask me how I'm doing. It's a convenience store, so don't expect rock-bottom prices, but certain basics (milk etc.) are very reasonably priced. I believe they keep it this way for the locals, which I like being a native San Franciscan of 46 years. I go here at least twice a week and sometimes every day! They are THAT good. My 5 stars are for customer service and variety of products so you can always get something in a pinch. Bonus points for awesome deli sandwiches at decent prices.

Neighborhood corner store that is up on the gentrification happening. $10 credit card minimum (or $.50 charge) OFFERINGS: Grocery Really everything a Mission gentrifier needs: Mission de Flores bouquets, interesting snacks, classic chocolate bars, and other basics (pasta, sauce, cheese, milk, eggs, few pieces of fruit, etc.). There is a deli (never tried it) and an extensive beer and wine collection. Expect to pay a little convenience premium. Specialties What makes this place outstanding is the huge collection of European chocolate bars! The owner is European and makes sure to import them :). For its size, the ice cream selection is impressive. SERVICE: Always friendly guys at the counter. I never feel rushed out and love browsing through the interesting goods :).
