taqueria and grocer/market. very good burritos and nachos and tacos. plus, while you wait for your order you can pick up a few grocery items. they have fresh fruit, wine, cereal, beer, chips, sodas, etc.... they açcept Ebt, even the taqueria.

This market (with an inside taqueria) is the only thing keeping this crazy block of the Tenderloin livable these days. Brothers Eddie and Ehab are stand-up guys who don't tolerate any bullsh#t from troublemakers and random neighborhood crazies, but who will help customers truly in need. Not only did they keep their employees gainfully employed when things looked dire during the early days of the lockdown, they have kept their aisles well-stocked with all the essentials, and a lot of the non-essentials (very good wine and candy selections). CVS and Target out of toilet paper or sanitizer? You can always get it here (and at reasonable prices). Fresh fruit and vegetables? They have the best selection this side of Trader Joe's. Plus they do it all with (usually) good humor, especially considering that they have to deal with the occasional crazy person setting fire in the store or busting out their front windows. Thanks for being the glue that holds this little neighborhood together, guys!!

I've shopped here for over 10 years and it's with much sadness that I write this review I can handle occasional rudeness, and the fact that this store is not pristine. I've overlooked a lot because I know these are two brothers trying to support families. How many times have I bought spilled milk? Lol But today I experienced RACISM The owners and friends made racial comments to and about me and now they are getting what they want - I refuse to set foot in their filthy (literally & figuratively) ever again
