I got an appointment right away, his office staff Lavina and Bob are friendly, cheerful and after a year the longest I have had to wait is no more than 2 minutes. Rudy is also a very nice, polite staff member. I sign in and immediately am shown to an exam room for BP/Weight/Temp and then about 5-10 min wait for Dr. Bredeek himself. He is always upbeat and interested. He's a PhD and extremely versed in his practice. Suffice to say, I feel fortunate to have found him, he is totally dedicated to my well being and good health.”

“I’ve been here a few times for scheduled appointments, usually at 730a. There are already a handful of customers and almost all labs have only 1-2 staff manning the front desk and doing blood draws. These Lab folks deserve respect. They cover all parts of the office. They’re not set up for success to meet all walk ins. They do their job well and are efficient as can be.”
“I highly recommend booking your appointment as early in the day as possible to avoid a wait, especially since the waiting area is a bit tight and can fill up quickly. The building is a bit dated, as others have mentioned, but the lab itself is clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly, efficient, and professional. Overall, a positive experience!”
“Excellent service as I had to drop mom off for her appointment Friday and look for parking!Only problem here was reaching live people here to get directions and parking info just couldn’t get it so we were frustratingly on our own! So after half hour I was able to find parking on the street?????❤️✌️and we needed every bit of the two hour maximum parking meter rules! We drove in because of CoVid and my mom hasn’t had her CoVid vaccine shot yet so taking BART was definitely a no!( The staff of Dr and intern Veronica were super nice as I watched them take care of my moms’eyes:)I recommend this place to anyone having devastating sight issues like mom being legally blind due to immaculate degeneration and two messed up cornea transplants, which she never got compensated for.”

“Convenient location with efficient, kind staff.
No appointments taken, just walk-ins. I recommend coming super early or between 3 and 5pm.
I’ve had to have a lot of bloodwork done after suffering through sepsis and hospitalization when I had a lot of needles missing my veins and subsequently scarring all over my arms, wrists, and hands.
So, I am qualified in stating that the phlebotomists here are amazing and make the experience super quick!”

“I’ve walked in twice now and always been out within 15 minutes. Super efficient. I only have great things to say about the front desk lady and all the technicians. Very professional, polite, clear, and good at their jobs. My blood draws have been super quick and painless (no struggles finding a vein, they distract me with nice conversation). The bathroom is clean as well.”

“I have extremely small veins so I can be a very difficult case but Peggy was incredible & so calming. At other locations, doctors have sent me to other places or attempt 4x to draw blood but Peggy got me her first try. I would highly, highly recommend.”

“had a lovely experience here this morning. I was extremely stressed due to the fact I had to take a last minute covid-19 PCR test for my flight tonight, and the staff here was amazing. They were nothing but friendly and helped me quickly and made sure that I had everything I needed to ensure I would be able to fly safely and make my trip tonight. Both the man in charge and the kind woman who did my swab were great and I would definitely come back for any testing needs.”

“I walked in for a blood draw recently and it was a pretty seamless experience. There was a line out front before they opened, but the staff got everyone checked in very quickly and they moved through the list swiftly as well. They were kind and patient - overall, a breeze!”

“Recently went to AHF for a general check up and my first experience with the AHF team was great! Their staff is knowledgeable, caring and responsive... they went above and beyond by getting me scheduled quickly. I was a bit unsure about going because I'm not Poz and there are some bad reviews for related locations. Neither concern amounted to anything... the reviews are from individuals who have a political bone to pick with AHF - but (sounds like) never received care from the team... do yourself a favor and ignore them. While they specialize in working with folks who are Poz (HIV+) or seeking preventative care, they'll accept non-Poz patients too. My understanding is they'll see patients without regard to ability to pay and while waiting I heard the staff working with patients to make sure they have access to every available resource that might help them. Bummed that the office is only open Weds and Fridays, but the friendly team more than makes up for any stars I'm inclined to knock off for that. Bottom line - the AHF team is a great community resource - they deserve some Yelp love!”
