If I could give a zero I would. The staff is extremely rude. I won't go into details. I think they are racist. I have never been treated so terribly. They would not let me exchange an item in perfect condition. They insulted me in front of my daughter and other customers. Before this, I was a frequent ML buyer. So were my sisters. Now we boycott them.

A few years ago, a friend introduced me to MOL. Ever since, my uniform is basically the shawl cardi or zip hoodie, jeans and a t-shirt. I’m obsessed with the crazy soft tie-dye masks. When we walk past the pretty store on Fillmore Street, my husband calls the beautifully styled windows my “retail kryptonite” lol.

My mother, who lived and breathed fashion, introduced me to the gracious and friendly Teresa O'Leary at the Margaret O’Leary boutique some years ago. With Teresa’s guidance, my mom found amazing pieces (including an unforgettable red cashmere sweater with a white heart woven into the front of it) that were just right for her and that made her special occasions all the more special.Happy to have found such a great source for fashion, I have been a loyal customer of Margaret O’Leary ever since. The boutique boasts an abundance of wonderful things and has at its helm a very knowledgeable stylist in Teresa. Teresa helps me sort through the many beautiful items in the shop to find pieces that fit perfectly, that are becoming in terms of style and color, and that work with other items in my wardrobe. Teresa always gives me her honest opinion about what looks good on me and encourages me to take my time to ponder my selections, which means I have always chosen things that I have been really pleased with. And even post-purchase, Teresa is there to help --- with advice about care of the fabric, about what goes well with what, or with any question about fashion that comes to mind. So, I give full marks to Margaret O’Leary.

I have been shopping at Margaret O'Leary for years and never leave disappointed. Diann, Teresa and Joylan are always so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Margaret O'Leary has a great/beautiful selection of cashmere and timeless, stylish pieces that you will keep for years. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem for a more personal (pleasant) shopping experience!

I always love going into this store. The store is laid out in a way that feels really calm and is a haven from the world with natural fabrics and stunning neutrals. The staff are not too much - friendly but not overpowering. I don’t like feeling harassed or pressured when I’m shopping. Especially when I’m just browsing. The items are fabulous and well made. It can be pricey but there are always some more budget friendly items available. Wish I could shop here more!

Shopping at her Fillmore store has always been special. I feel confident in knowing I’m selecting beautiful and timeless pieces I’ll where for a lifetime. The manager, Diann Rose, has impeccable taste that I can trust. I am stopped by strangers who want to know where I bought my clothes. I tell them!
