Do not order from this company. Back in February I ordered a tray that was not packaged appropriately so it arrived broken. Graciously they ship me a replacement item. Unfortunately, that item was also not packaged correctly and also arrived broken. I then asked for a refund which they said they would process, but I still have not received my refund over a month later. In the meantime, they will not respond to any of my emails asking where my refund is. Do not order from this company!

As a designer, I first visited their shop on Hayes St as a patron 10 years ago. Since then, they have always been a reliable resource for furnishings and home decor. As I am familiar with the perils of the furniture industry, shipping complications, etc. Matt and his team have always gone above and beyond to assure my client’s orders go as smooth as possible. I look forward to collaborating with Matt for many years to come.

Horrible experience! I ordered a 3d printed frame for my mom for Xmas in September. They told me in November the frame and print would not get to me until the end of January. I asked at the end of January and they said it was going to be longer. Never will I shop with these people again.

Great customer service. I had to cancel my order due to a shipping delay, I received immediate and personal help from the staff and a very quick refund. Will order from Marker & Mark again for sure.

I had a console deliver damaged on March 1 2023 and it’s been so awful trying to get a refund or replacement since then. The follow up on email is really spotty - just like the other reviewer, everyone is nice but it’s been 20 days since their last email to me with multiple reminders from me. I regret buying from them.

Unfortunately for the second time dealing with Maker and Moss ordering the same chair I’m really disappointed.The service and follow up leaves a lot to wish for. Considering the value of the chair, I’d expect a lot better customer service and follow up.No one has notified me that the process of this chair being delivered to me will be this lengthy. It’s really unacceptable. It’s not a made to order piece. So why is it taking this long? I placed the order on 4/26/23. No oral mention of the time frame for delivery…Last week I was told the chair is already in North California, and I’m still lacking tracking? I’ve made multiple calls and emails, never received any solid time commitment. I’m promised follow up yet no one does, unless you repeatedly call. Everyone is nice but I didn’t order or pay for nice. I paid for a chair that 5 weeks later isn’t even on a dock of a delivery track.I really wish I went with another company with the purchase.

I have been meaning to write this review for a hot minute. First of all Mathew and his team are amazing! I emphasize the word team .. because you can tell these people truly work as a team. I have been working on opening my main level . I have found a few wonderful finds here . Remember you pay for quality.. this place is worth it! I picked up the art work throws. Last year, my wife and I searched and searched for a dining table. When we found it we decided to purchase through a brick and mortar merchant rather than online. We found several shops in Bay Area that worked with the manufacturer but decided on Maker and Moss. We had several hiccups with delivery and damage that were in no way Maker and Moss' fault. BUT, Maker and Moss dealt with them diligently and us kindly in a time of severe stress with such supply chain, transportation and communication adversity. Thanks Matt and your team.

I have been waiting for my items for almost 2 months now and all the store was able to tell me is that if I cancel the order there is going to be a very expensive 30% reversal fee plus shipping costs. On their website when you land on the product's pages, they still say that it will ship in between 2-4 weeks, and if they are determined to blame the issues on COVID like they predictably did, at least they should change the shipping information on their website so that people can manage their expectations and decide NOT to buy if it's not guaranteed within a timeframe. There's much more in this store that I wanted to buy, but given the inability to manage their shipment and their customers expectations, I won't be buying here again. Save yourself a headache and buy somewhere else.

Maker and Moss has amazing furniture, but they partnered with Metropolitan Delivery for S&H, which is a major failure. Metropolitan has 1.5 stars on yelp (LOL), and is the source of all frustration ordering from M&M. I won't be ordering furniture again from here just because of my terrible experience with shipping. It's a shame, because I had plans to order much more.
