Lynne Petrie Lange has been our StateFarm insurance agent for over 25 years, first covering our condo in San Francisco and subsequently our home in Sonoma CA. In the rare (fortunately!) cases we’ve had to make a claim, her agency & staff have been the epitome of thorough information, prompt & friendly response and processing assistance, making sure we obtained the full benefits of policy coverage. The agency’s staff has also been very helpful seeing that we obtained required FEMA flood insurance. I highly recommend them to anyone with insurance needs, regardless of type or location. Prompt, friendly, smart.

Both of them provided exceptional customer service and were extremely prompt in their follow-up. I have been loyal to Lynn and State Farm because of this personalized, sincere and customer-centric approach by her staff.

Lynn and her team have always been attentive and patient, making insurance conversations informative and non-stressful. Recent interactions with Tommie in Lynn's office have made me feel heard, which is rare when dealing with most vendors and service providers. It feels like real people work in this office, and they sound like they like their jobs. How refreshing!

I had been meaning to switch companies for years due to the increasing premiums and misleading info I received from my previous agent and finally took the leap. I received an email with a follow up text from Summer. She was quick to provide me with a quote for auto and renters insurance that I just couldn’t pass up. She was able to answer any questions I had and explained everything so thoroughly. Thank you Summer and thank you State Farm Insurance!

I have been with Lynn Petrie Lange for over 20 years. Her level of support is superb. She, along with her staff (Rosie), have helped me through several tricky insurance situations, with quick, detailed and specific guidance.Insurance often feels like a commodity to me. However, Lynn's office supports stands out. Which is why I have stay with them for so many years. I highly recommend her!

I have been a customer with Lynn for the past 15+ years. Her staff are always helpful and go extra miles for us. Recently, my wife bought a new car and the dealership requested us to have a proof of insurance with new car information on the policy before we could pick up our car next morning. We are talking about getting all these insurance documents done on late Friday afternoon. However, Rose was able to work diligently and marvelously to give us a quote and prepare all documents ready for our new car. Thank you for that. From my own experience, I haven't had a better service from anywhere else. Thank you again Lynn and all the staff for your wonderful service all these years.

I have found the office to be poor in responding to questions and the agent Lynn to be rather unprofessional. I have used State Farm for many years when living elsewhere (20+ years) and my experience with Lynn and her staff has.been uniformly poor and very different than the other agents I have had from State Farm. I am switching to a different San Francisco State Farm agent and would suggest all to consider the same. Specific issues with Lynn are: 1.) Her policy quotes are higher due to errors she makes when using the State Farm system - other State Farm agents will incorporate appropriate discounts and respond to requests for adjustments in coverage (her absence of communicating makes this impossible to rectify with her), 2.) she does not respond to the online State Farm portal when messages are sent to her and she and her office staff indicate this is her policy and 3.) her office staff have informed me that she is too busy and therefore only will speak to her clients with a scheduled appointment which are currently 10 days out. Interestingly, within a few minutes of being contacted by my new State Farm agent who would be taking over the account, Lynn called me indicating she was aware of the unanswered messages left by me but laughed at me and never offered an explanation for her poor service. As one of her online reviewers indicated, her best attribute is collecting checks . I can’t imagine the nightmare of trying to work thru a claim with Lynn and her office. Her online reviews indicate this has been uniformly poor. Strongly encourage not using this office - State Farm fortunately has many better people out there.

I have had my homeowners, auto, and HOA policies with Lynn for nearly 30 years. She and her team have always been incredibly helpful and attentive to my needs. I appreciate working with an insurance agent who goes out of their way to make sure you have what you need, but not more than you need -- and that is exactly what I have grown to expect from Lynn.
