This store is a joke. Pro department sells you a credit card but then you can't use it. Takes an hour for them to figure it out. Then they say they'll deliver your stuff on a day in a window. They won't. You call and it rings and rings. If they pick up you just hear them hang up without saying anything. You can't use the card they sold you online either. It's a farce. Don't believe them. Don't sign up for anything. It's all promises and no follow-through. Their business practice is clearly set up around bait-and-switch tactics.

Surprised they have a one star! Much better than Home Depot. Came in, friendly people. Happy with the selection and the prices of some plumbing things I was looking for.

Lowe's has the worst customer service. Did you know that even if you pay for delivery, they don't guarantee that they'll deliver your product? It's been a month since I bought a refrigerator and I still have no fridge. They literally told me that that's just a request. If you have another option you should NOT USE LOWE'S. Their customer service (specifically the supply chain and delivery team) won't even give you their names for accountability and they hide behind a customer service phone number where no one ever picks up. Just go look at their website and see if there's a way to reach any human being who can help you. I have never heard of this kind of service.

Wanted to find small, ready-mixed cans of paint. They don't have them but will do samples for you.

I can't believe I didn't write this review sooner. I came in today and literally left within 15 minutes because I got help from Eduardo in the paint department and Roberto in the electrical department. They were SOOOO fast to answer all my questions. Forget HDepot-- lowes is the place to go. Thank you so much!

Complete waste of 1.5 months and horrendous attitude towards simple questions.Jimmy from Kitchen and Countertops is near useless. He is supposedly the kitchen pro but doesn't know what bookmatched waterfalls are... Silestone also offers polished and matte finishes which he was confused about.Lowe's uses Solo Tile as the subcontractor for countertop install and apparently the two parties have no idea what the other is doing or how anything works between the two. Both parties refuse to communicate with each other and will leave the customer to play phone tag between the two AND the goddamn countertop fabricator.I had a friend recommend I checkout Home Depot to get my kitchen countertop installed and I ended up price comparing with Lowe's to see if there were better deals. HD came in at $11k for my small kitchen and two bathroom vanities, while Lowe's told me they could install everything for $8.7k. Sounded like a great deal so I paid the deposit and waited for Solo to contact me.After they got in touch, they said they couldn't send out anyone to come measure for 3.5 weeks, which was fine since the remodel had already been ongoing for a year. An extra 3 weeks wouldn't be a huge issue.David from Solo came over at the specified appointment time and was courteous and professional. My wife wanted to change the bathroom vanity quartz to a different color and David said it would be slightly more since the minimum sq footage for orders was 25 (which would only be a few hundred dollars more). After this point, is where the issue started.Mayra (solo) emailed me and said the new pricing would be $11.2k which was WAAAAAY higher than what I was expecting compared to the original quote. I asked her why it was so much higher and she said she had no idea and to call Lowe's to ask. (Lowe's is impossible to reach via phone in a timely manner) At that point, my wife agreed that it would be best just to stick to the original scheme and pay the $8.7 instead so I told Mayra to simply switch back to the original plan for single color across all rooms. She reverted the quote and it came out to $11.3k!??!?I called her to ask why it was 30% higher than what I was quoted and she said "I don't know. You probably have more square footage then what's shown in the drawings" which is 100% not true. I installed the cabinets myself and everything is up to spec down to the millimeter. She then again deferred to Lowe's and told me to call them.We were still willing to work with them at this point since pricing was on par with Home Depot still, and my wife wanted to switch back to the two color scheme since it was CHEAPER and what she wanted. I spoke with Mayra and could already tell she was frustrated with the switch back, but since I had no answers from both parties as to why pricing was 30% higher I pressed for whatever information she did have. The updated pricing back to the two tone scheme then came out to $11.7k!!! $500 dollars than it was a mere 24 hours ago with absolutely no changes on our end.I asked her why she couldn't change it back to the $11.2k which was shown just yesterday and she flatly replied with "You're not the only customer I'm dealing with." Yea no shit genius. I'm trying to figure out how I could be priced so utterly incorrectly and why even determining new pricing requires a quantum computer. You've provided me with zero information on how pricing works and why it's fluctuating so wildly when the base input has not changed at all.Cancelled the Lowe's contract immediately after and went back to my old contractor who did our countertops at our old home. Pricing was only $8.9k for the same Silestone quartz and he came out to measure same day and installed in less than 2 weeks.

Upon entering Lowe's, I find a sprawling, well-organized store offering a comprehensive range of home improvement products and appliances. The vast selection of goods, from tools to gardening equipment, provides a one-stop solution for homeowners and DIY enthusiasts. The spacious and well-lit environment creates a conducive shopping atmosphere, enabling easy exploration of the diverse product range. The staff at Lowe's are knowledgeable and helpful, providing valuable insights and advice on product selection and home improvement projects. The store layout is logical and well-signed, facilitating efficient navigation and product location. The overall service and environment reflect Lowe's commitment to customer satisfaction and quality.Considering value, Lowe's offers competitive pricing on high-quality products, providing substantial value for consumers seeking home improvement solutions. The extensive product range and options cater to varied needs and budgets, ensuring a fulfilling shopping experience. In this fictional review, I would give Lowe's a 4 out of 5 stars for its extensive product range, knowledgeable staff, and overall shopping experience.

Renter here, landlord bought & had Lowes deliver & install. Installation was under 10 minutes (see photo*) & smelled gas within 20 minutes. Landlord unable to get any follow-up from Lowes so advised me to ask power company take a look. Guys from Lowes who installed didn't use any sealant/tape on the gasline threads; they were just metal to metal; so obviously there was a leak. Just a heads up. I'm here to tell about it...*Photo is a metal piece they didn't bother to attach on one end, loose end ended up crammed under stove.

I really like buying lower but today it was a disappointment, when I came to pick up a water heater I didn't even have help, apart from if it works it seemed to be dead, I intend not to return to this store anymore and also that my customers don't do it where to buy more here so I can pick-up

TL;DR: go to the Lowe's in San Bruno or the Home Depot in Daly City or Colma instead of the San Francisco Lowe's.I'll start out by saying that initially I was very excited to have a home improvement store back in the area after Goodman Lumber shutdown (and talk about a crazy story there, in terms of the father leaving the business to the son and property to the daughter, and a failure to work together that drove that whole business down into the ground). While a few interactions were good, there are several events that lead me to giving this location 1 star.First, in the latest entry in the series of cursed parking lots in the area, this is the only place where my car has been damaged while parked. The area is dim and confusing, and if you don't have any heavy or bulky material, I recommend parking on the upper level.Second, and even less forgivable, I ordered a big item and had it shipped to store for pick-up. Cue a 6-hour ordeal during which I and someone else ended up checking in with customer service every hour or so while someone tried finding the item, then needed to get a forklift to get an item, then needed a forklift operator, then needed to wait for a shift change to get a new forklift operator to grab the item. I would have been much happier to have been given a realistic ETA so I could leave and then come back, rather than being strung along minute-by-minute, hour-by-hour.Finally, during the ordeal above, I could tell the front-line stations were understaffed and overwhelmed. I cannot say the same of the supervisors circulating around endlessly, overseeing and not working--while they wore the same red vests as everyone else, they were easily spotted by their dress shoes. I cannot fathom how this Lowe's can be so top-heavy and poorly run; at least at other stores, I see both shortages in workers and managers, but at the situation at the San Francisco Lowe's reminded me of the attached cartoon.I would highly recommend going to the San Bruno Lowe's. My experience there in contrast to the one above like a glass of water in the desert: I was helped promptly, my items arrived quickly, and they even had security cameras monitoring the parking lot.I hope that the San Francisco Lowe's improves, but unless I hear so from others first, I will be going to the San Bruno Lowe's or the Home Depots in Daly City or Colma instead.
