Very tasty reasonably priced sandwiches (even breakfasty ones). I'd recommend passing on the salads.more recently it's mainly to go operation, although I guess you could sit in the window and eat

Food is Amazing. The shop itself is pretty bare bones. Enough room to sit and have lunch...but most people take their sandwiches to go.

This is the place for a quick bite if your in the area. Fresh bread plenty of meat. I like turkey and ham together. This place is on point. There is not a lot of memorable eating spots I have in the bay but this is one of the few I really enjoyed

Food - got the chicken pesto sandwich with no cheese. the bread was lightly toasted (keep in mind I took mine to go and ate it about 20 mins later so it may have been crispier fresh). overall was ok. there was more meat towards the middle of the sandwich, but after a few bites and towards the end, there was literally little to no meat. a bit spicy (it had jalepeno so a slight kick but nothing too spicy). couldn't really taste the aioli sauce (i think sauce is a bit lacking). there were also only like two slices of tomatoes and I wish there was more meat and tomato. Service - super quick. Easy ordering at the counter, accepts apple pay (woohoo!) and order was ready in less than 10 minutes. super fast. Ambiance - super small but cozy. I don't think there was seating so mainly a to-go place.

Lou's Cafe is great. Their sandwiches are huge and delicious. My favorite is the Roma: turkey, bacon and avocado sounds basic, but that pesto sauce really sets it off. And Lou's has the best Dutch Crunch bread, it's hard to argue with that. The service is good, and vibes here are real chill. So go grab a bag of chips, a drink and a big jam-packed sandwich for lunch, then walk it off at the beach. Maybe go for a bike ride. Sounds like a nice day in San Francisco, right? If you have room, try their clam chowder too.

We came here after a hike and the sandwiches were so good. I think it's due to the fact they put jalapeño spread on all of their sandwiches it just kicks it up a notch. There's so many options, so I'm sure most people would be able to find something to fit their pallette. It was one of the best sandwiches I had in a very long time. If I'm in the area you best to believe I'm stopping here. There's a reason the line stays long at this spot.

Order ahead on the app or by phone; and head straight to the front of the line during pick up. I really enjoyed the Ami-Cado sandwich. The bread was toasted and not too thick. Pastrami was good quality. Right amount of vegetables. Lou's sauce was delicious and not overpowering. However, beware that the sauce is spicy. Overall, great ratio sandwich. My favorite so far in San Francisco.

Definitely not a review type of person, and I'm not big on the city BUT we stopped here before heading to the museum and we hit the jackpot. Literally the best sandwiches we've ever had. Immediately good vibes, smells great, it's super clean (rare for the city) these sandwiches were SOO bomb it literally has me looking for a reason to go back and try something new off their menu every time. I have 2 picky eaters that were both happy. ( SO RARE!) thank you for the food guys, they were so quick and everything is fresh. Maaaan I wish I was telling you guys in person but these people were so nice guy at the front had a great sense of humor and very personable. You guys are great thanks for the experience from Redwood City

The sandwiches are great but I was disappointed to see that Lou's hasn't updated the menu board with current prices of sandwiches. It's quite deceiving thinking you are spending $10 for a sandwich but it turns into a $13 sandwich. I understand prices have increased all over the Bay Area but it's important to also update the prices. Even the menu they had to give out listed the old prices and to r menu on their window has another old menu price. Luckily no one has said anything yet. I was just told it's an old price and look online. Even online the prices vary. Over all the sandwiches are still delicious and obviously I am willing to pay the increased cost but I recommend updating the prices.

Their veggi sandwich is really good! When I'm In sf, this is one of the places I gotta stop and grab their veggie sandwich. I was never a fan of veggie sandwiches, but this place makes it tasty!

This location is amazing. My companion and I had a great time ordering everything from this place, but our favorite was the dessert. The assistance was precise. They give us a sense of contentment and comfort.
