Exactly the classic China Rain scent I have been looking everywhere for since Terranova stopped producing it. Shipped quickly and beautifully packaged. Now that I know the level of quality I will be buying many oils. Can't find this stuff in rural Colorado but as an Ojai, CA native I am so glad I came across this shop (in a reddit discussion)! Thank you! I ordered a couple sampler packs as well so will leave reviews on those when they get here! Can't wait! Only advice is to sell on etsy if you aren't already as I am sure others are looking for this particular China Rain or other Terranova discontinued scents. I ordered many others off there with great disappointment each time. So glad Life is in my life now!

Love love love this place, I've come twice now and am regretting it'll be a while before I can come for a third. The prices are super reasonable compared to store-bought perfumes, the bottles are super portable, and you can customize your own scent. PLUS the owner is knowledgable and kind and will work with you on what you want. I would recommend this to anyone going to Haight Ashbury!

I love this place! Quality oils that I can only get from here. I recently bought some oil to be shipped. There was a problem with the shipping fee which they immediately fixed and included an incense gift and a really nice note! Love their oils and their customer service. Highly recommend this little gem!

Love this store. Just happen to be walking around the area while waiting for my takeout order when I visited for the first time. This place is so captivating, I wish I had more time to look every time I visit! The store associates were so friendly and the store felt very cozy to be in. Great place to buy small gifts for friends seems like. They have really cute greeting cards too. Received a surprise gift of a perfume oil from my bf, probably because I talked about this place so many times my favorite gift!!! The perfume oil section is awesome, you can mix scents in different size containers for a pretty reasonable price too

Couldn't recommend this neighborhood gem more! You can make your own fragrance with essential oils here! How special is it to make yourself or someone you love someone that personalized?! It's also so reasonable (in terms of price for what you are getting) and whomever is working always has wonderful recommendations on how to balance each oil (if you choose a blend). They also have jewelry, vintage clothes, cute bags, beautiful cards and MORE treasures. Don't walk by without a good peak in. You'll thank me

A beautiful boutique filled with lovely local, artisan clothing, fragrances and related. The atmosphere is warm welcoming and friendly and the displays are lovely. They sell both fragrances and essential oils. The perfume fragrances are beautiful and I would select these over the very high end natural fragrances made of isolates at high end department stores. But I am writing this review regarding customer service. First visit--the salesperson was sweet and so attentive. I ended up buying a product that was not what I expected. I returned a week later simply to give it back not knowing what else to do with it. I was quite critical of the item. A different salesperson was there and she did not agree with me and stated what I claimed was incorrect; we lightly debated the oil in question. And yet, she was very polite and civilized and allowed me to exchange the oil for a product I know well. I did not expect an exchange or a refund from a small boutique but just to return the essential oil and share my assessment of it. So, regarding customer service -- it's an A+! And it's a beautiful store and my issues were ones unlikely to impact most shoppers!

stopped by my favorite perfume stores to get an old scent remade, which was a hard feat bc the old perfume bottle i brought was made at Life 6 years ago, and they didn’t have the honey wine scent anymore, but Alexis was super helpful and worked really hard to match it. thanks boo!

This is a great little shop that I have always loved, but as of today they're now 6 stars. I foolishly lost an item (fell out of the bag.) 100% my fault but Rika was so kind about helping me figure it out. Jewelry, soaps and scents, some apparel. Books and gifts for the ladies. Did I mention jewelry? I recommend this lovely, locally and woman-owned boutique.

I love this cute little store, I've shopped here for probably over 10 years or so and can always find cute little gifts, perfume oils, cards, candles, and scented soaps. They also custom scent lotions or create a scent that's just for you! It's so unique, cute, and has a great peaceful vibe. The owner is unfailingly helpful and has great ideas when I'm not sure what to buy for the friend who has everything. This shop has something for everyone - definitely check it out!
