Leland Market has some of the most unique kinds of Latin fare one will find on the peninsula. In fact, I don't recall finding HALF of what they sell in liquor and convenience stores in Fruitvale and/or San Leandro. It is therefore my recommendation that Leland Market expand their operations to stores in Fruitvale and/or San Leandro, because the East Bay does not know what it's missing out on.

Extremely overpriced and low quality. 24 pcs of water cost almost 9 dollars which is half the price elsewhere. If you buy any other groceries it is guaranteed it won’t be fresh and cost 2x. They are not smart enough to understand this will cost them more money. Bad business decisions.

Great selection. But rude cashier. And rude customer service.
My 2nd time shopping there and I will never visit again. I live in the neighborhood.
I said good morning to the cashier and said thank you when checking out and try to be friendly,
She never responded and didn't acknowledge. Maybe she hates her job. Maybe she doesn't speak language well. But I doubt it. She just didn't want to deal with me.
I don't like what she makes me a customer feel.

Nice people, pretty ok prices and good variety of pretty much anything you can find at the big stores. I'm lucky to have them within walking distance. Only downside is the double parked cars (costumers)all along the street (on both sides).
