Inga was a great help in selecting fixtures for an entire home while we were preparing it for sale last year. She made what could have been an overwhelming task so much easier, with her expert suggestions. I know from experience there is a lot that can go wrong with selecting light fixtures... from not enough light, to wrong scale, and more. Inga kept us from making costly mistakes, and the project turned out great. The customer service was excellent, and there's nothing like being able to see the actual fixtures in person at the store before you order them. Inga helped us pick out at least 12 sets of lights, and we didn't have to return or change any of them. When a glass shade was broken for one of the fixtures, she got us a replacement quickly. I highly recommend using Inga's design services. For a larger project like ours, she might visit your site in person. Otherwise, you will need to send her photos.

It was time to replace 2 decades old lamps. Where to go for expert advice and a good selection on the floor. Not interested in on-line shopping. Although, I did a brief internet search to get an idea and jot down questions. I wanted a lamp store. Not a store with only an aisle or 2 of lamps. Lamps Plus was my choice. Joseph was a great advisor, not a salesman. He is very experienced in all aspects of lighting. He listened to me ramble on about what I wanted. Looked at pictures of my home. Understood the lighting needs of the room where the lamps would be used. Then, he walked me directly to one area, another and then finally a third. I didn't need to see more. The sections are nice groupings of styles. Not a hodge-podge of lamps. I was out in 20 minutes with my order in hand. I did have problems with assembly. Joseph helped with that, too. He's very conscience. My new lamps are perfect where they sit! Everyone on staff was pleasant. It was a pleasant experience.

Lamps Plus on Geary St. is the go to place for lighting fixtures, floor lamps and small tables. The salespeople are knowledgeable and laid-back non-pushy folks. Good selection of indoor & outdoor lights, LED, bulbs, etc. Good folks. .

I just completed a renovation and bought new lights for every room in my house. It got to the point that they knew my name when I walked in. I got terrific help from everyone who works there, and a special thank you to Joseph to worked to ensure a lamp on order arrived in time for my contractor to install.

Poor experience with salesperson recently. He was dismissive and petulant. I was made to feel I was too stupid to understand what he was saying. I realize he doesn't represent the business there and it appears many others have had good experiences. But I was out of there in 5 minutes and I won't be returning.

I've bought from this store twice now, and both times I've been really happy with the experience. They have so many options, but the store doesn't feel overwhelming. I went today searching for wall sconces, and I was greeted by Maggie as soon as I walked in. Even though she was in the middle of something, she walked me to the sconce section and helped me choose one. She was so patient--she pulled up the lights online so I could see how they looked in the photos provided by customers. She was also super helpful with the bulb recommendations. I had a lot to carry and she insisted on giving me a bag for the bulbs to make it easier on me--just overall attentive customer service and I love my new sconces!

Inga is a great source of advice for what style and size lamp or fixture works well in a room. I sent her photos and she was amazing at helping me two different times -- ceiling sconce and desk lamp. Very happy and all accomplished online!
