My son is on the spectrum, and he has been learning at his own pace at Kumon Judah center for 8 years! The faculty here at the center reviews his work daily and adjust the assignments accordingly based on his accuracy and time spent. They created an individualized educational plan just for his learning style and ability! Whenever a new concept is introduced, a teacher is there to explain it thoroughly with examples. Then he is assigned with relevant problems to resolve. The repetition is a unique and powerful way for his to learn and master the concepts and knowledge to move on to the next level!

After I saw the review message, I decided to write my opinion fairly. My granddaughter has been attending math and English cram schools for two years. She has a unique personality and is not very gregarious. Restless. I asked the teachers to help her and be strict with her, but they said to me, "No, then she will lose interest and not want to learn." They patiently arranged for someone to teach her. Now she is an AP Giannini student got excellent math and English scores. It's A. Therefore, I introduced many of my friends’ children to classes.. This is a caring and experienced place. Please tell us more.

My child started Kumon day after he turned 2 year old. My child was an honor student from elementary school, Junior high and high school. He had never missed single word in the spelling tests from K - 8th grade. My son graduated as a valedictorian in Junior high school. In high school, he had AP Calculus, AP Physics, AP History, and Honor English. He graduated in E.E. Master of Science in Magna Cum Laude. He is continuing his education in PhD right after his MS degree. As a veteran Kumon parent, I give all these Honors/ Credits to Sunset Kumon. Without Kumon, my child won’t be the same. My Son had great time when he attended Kumon. Director Joseph and staff of Sunset Kumon know my child's learning level in both English and Math from their hearts. The welcome smiles, positive verbal encourages and reinforcements by Joseph and Staffs are surely heartwarming.Kumon also taught my child how to be a responsible child/ student by turning in his works on time; to ask questions(practice communicate with others), problem solving when facing difficulty, self control, plan in ahead of time before each assignment, prepare to intergrade himself not only toward educational, also in sports musical instruments, and Arts . . . ETC. Because all take PRACTICE!!Kumon gives my child confidence and comfortable mind zone in learning and ongoing additional acknowledgment in Education.I highly recommended Kumon to others. This is what I have done and will on going to do so,

My daughter is in 4th grade at Stevenson Elementary School. She loves artistic activities such as drawing and dancing, but math, reading and writing are not her strengths. That's why she attended Kumon. She has been attending Kumon for 6 months and I have noticed that my daughter has improved in writing and calculation subjects such as calculating sums, differences, products of multiplication or division. Still a child, she is distracted by her surroundings when she studies at home. For example, she barely reads aloud to grasp the entire story, or she often does not the entire Kumon homework every day. With her progress, I still want her to continue to study at Kumon for as long as possible even during the summer. As a parent, I will do my duty such as asking my child to do her homework in the appropriate space within my ability to check on her regularly or checking her Kumon works when she answers that she is done to make sure she does not miss any pages. I hope she will be good at math, writing and reading in the future. If your child has the same problem as my daughter, I hope Kumon will be your choice.

Kumon has been a game-changer for my kid! They're more confident in math, progress at their own pace, and the instructors are super supportive. It's totally worth it for any parent looking to boost their child's skills and confidence.

I've been at sunset kumon with my kids for many years. This place taught my kids how to read and write before they entered kindergarten. My 6th grader is enjoying algebra and factoring and doing work beyond her grade level. I am lucky to have found sunset kumon. I en courage parents to enroll and help their children enjoy reading and math.

I can't say enough good things about Kumon. My kids have learned and excelled tremendously since they have joined the program. If your child puts in the work, they can exceed what they are learning at school. That gives them a sense of achievement and it improves their self confidence. I would highly recommend Kumon.

Kumon has been the reason my daughters have strong foundation in math and a keen interest in reading. My older daughter(now 15yrs), started kumon( math and reading ) when she was 6 yrs and from the very beginning we could see her grow and advance in both subjects quickly. We have recommended Kumon to some of our families after seeing this improvement. My second daughter(now 8 yrs) also followed her older sister’s footsteps and enrolled in both math and reading. She is doing well in math( advanced by 1 year) and loves her reading time. The Kumon classes are held in a very organized manner and worksheets help kids stay focused and encourages them to do their homework daily. There are also rewards for kid’s work- kumon dollars which kids can use to “buy” goodies available at the kumon center. I still, to date, encourage families to have their kids join Kumon :).

My son has been greatly helped by Kumon. My son was often unwell, which resulted in many absences from public school and he was not able to keep up with his studies. By attending Kumon, my son has been greatly helped and is able to keep up with his studies.

Both of my kids now 8 and 10 have been going to Kumon (at this location) for almost 2 years now. They have improved dramatically since they have started. I truly believe in Kumon’s teaching concept. Kumon has helped to build a strong foundation for my kids to success academically. They also conduct parent teacher conference to let parents know their kids’ learning progress, and how they can further assist. I cannot thank Kumon enough for their hard work and dedication.
