My go-to store since the location is pretty convenient from the BART station. The staff are pretty helpful and friendly! My mom and I like shopping in store because of the free samples and the product knowledge that they provide.

Unprofessional staff with poor attitude. I asked the staff if I could grab a product from the back of the line and heard he murmured “sure it’s not like theres anything different”. Do not recommend, go buy it at Nordstrom or Bloomingdale.

Kiehls is my go to for face products. They give samples for you to try out products that are new for you to see if they fit what you’re looking for. Their shopping bags are free!

Just wanted to take a moment and acknowledge the amazing staff at the kiehl's location 865 Market StSan Francisco, CA 94103. The staff at this location was beyond amazing, the patients and understanding they displayed upon my initial visit was what has led me to come to this location exclusively. Ann and her manager defined the meaning of the phrase "customer service" The knowledge of the products and the ability to get down to the basics of what you need over trying to get you to buy..... meant everything to me. I can't express enough how much I endorse this particular location. They will provide you with what you need every single time.

I'm a huge fan of Kiehl's skincare. Ever since I've had problems with blemishes, this place has been a go to place for me. Their products are of great quality and are great for any skin type. The service here is pretty consistent as well. I haven't had any issues here. The layout of the store is well organized and the customer service is okay. Nothing amazing...but they could do better with one on one service and asking each customer their specific issues/needs when they enter into the store.

I have been a customer of Kiehl's skin care products since May 2017 and although I don't have an issue with the products themselves, I am totally unhappy with their latest buy 1 get 1 offer. In ordering on line, the system did not take the best offer for me so I contacted customer rep. She cancelled the order and reordered the more expensive product that would give me one free. She told me it would come in a separate package. I did not get it. When contacting customer service to see why not, I was told they could not honor what rep told so bottomline, even though I spent $150 for 2 products, I got no free product. I was told if I bought it again, they could give me the bonus item. This is totally unacceptable so I'm very disappointed and looking for new skin care product. Beware the offers!

I come in often. I had just left Decim and Aesop for myself and I was in helping my partner find product who is new to skin care. When we arrived no one but the workers were in the store. Instead of introducing herself a woman stood behind us listening. I told her we would ask for help when we needed and thanked her. When we were checking out she was very short. We were also NOT offered samples. I wanted him to try another face wash to see if he would like so I asked she said no we don't have it then the same for the next two. She did not offer any alternative or extra info. Just handed us the bottle and receipt and have a good day and did not ask us if we wanted a bag. Mind you by this point another woman is getting great help and being offered deluxe samples for a simple purchase. I will be directing my partner to my skin care line, Aesop. They are kind, welcoming, ask you about your skin and are traIned well in customer service. Please direct you staff better on being kind, helpful and treating each customer with respect as you do not know how one persons negative experience can ripple to many. I feel as if we were undervalued and not treated kindly. I would suggest trying Nordstrom or the one on fillmore if you need products.

This store is amazing and I have be a loyal customer here when I lived in SF Bay for 15 years. I have been a loyal customer to Kiehls for many years...then after all my loyalty I get treated badly by customer service at corporate when a product is defective that I ordered online: I bought this Christmas Gift Kit for my 80 year old mother in the nursing home. While on my visit (9 hours away) I gave her this as part of her Christmas gift. Since she is unable to apply it to her own face, I opened the box and when I tried to pump the vitamin C Serum, nothing came out. The pump is defective so I contacted customer service. I finally heard back when I was back in Florida. I was then told I need to send the item back in the original package for a replacement. I explained that my mother is paralyzed and not able to do anything, let alone pack the product and send back. I will not be back to see her for 4 weeks. Needless to say, I will never buy Kiehls again. I have been a loyal customer for 5 years. Really bad customer service. Lowest rating I can possibly give.
