Let me say this first: Karen Mai is an exceptional realtor. I feel so lucky to have gotten her as my realtor. When I needed to sell my house, she sold it in 2 days. She is talented, fast, and very empathic to my situation. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to sell.

I can’t say enough great things about Karen Mai. I chose Karen after watching a video she had made explaining key steps and things to consider when selling a house and after speaking with her via FaceTime. She was clear, straightforward and very knowledgeable. It was obvious she was honest and trustworthy (not always the case with realtors), which turned out to be exactly the case.Her advice and knowledge of the market were invaluable, and I followed her lead in terms of pricing and preparing the house for sale. As I had bought - and was living in - another property in another town, Karen took charge, superbly managing contractors, stagers, gardeners, etc., to get the house ready for sale.Her marketing skills really shone. The Open Houses were well attended, and there was a lot of interest in the property. Once on the market, the house was in contract within 14 days. We had multiple offers over asking at a time when there were some uncertainties in the market. It was a pleasure working with Karen, and I appreciate deeply her expertise, her ability to stay on top of things and follow through and her guidance throughout the selling process. Would I work with her again? Absolutely!

I happened to reach out to Karen for help. I needed to rent a place in San Francisco, but I didn't have time to personally visit the properties or negotiate with owners. Karen recommended various properties and arranged appointments with each owner or agent, taking videos and providing detailed information to help me make a decision. Even after I decided on a place, Karen helped me complete all the necessary paperwork as I was unfamiliar with the rental process in the US. Throughout the process, despite the large amount of work involved in looking at multiple properties, Karen remained patient and analytical in helping me find the best fit for me. I feel very fortunate to have had Karen's help, and I highly recommend her services to anyone in need.

I had a unique situation where I was assisting a family member from out of state sell a property in San Francisco. Karen was very accommodating and made sure that she copied me on communications and kept me in the loop when necessary. Additionally, she promptly coordinated cleaning and inspection services for the property with reputable and reasonably priced vendors to help move the sale along. She is very responsive to inquiries from her client, and she implemented our requested sale terms with no push back. She has a great personality, which made this often stressful process pretty straightforward for my family member. We would certainly do business with her again.

Within a week of visiting a property for rent, Karen already had us ready with a lease to sign! Very quick and easy process thanks to her. She was also really great at negotiating terms between the landlord and tenants, super seamless process :)
