We are so grateful for Joan's expertise when training our puppy. Our dog is now 2 years old and we highly recommend Joan Joan4Pets for basic training and socialization. RECOMMENDATION FOR JOAN MAPOU, PET TRAINER & SITTER I cannot imagine what I would have done without Joan Mapou helping me train my new Havanese puppy. Joan is a reward-based SF/SPCA certified trainer who is also an excellent pet sitter. I have yet to meet a dog or a cat who doesn't love her and who she doesn't love. Joan is completely reliable, dependable and fun to be with and her training sessions are always informative and interesting. Afterwards, she will send you tons of information regarding what she trained that session. On top of being a fantastic trainer/sitter, Joan is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Joan uses force-free, positive reinforcement techniques that truly work. My husband and I own AWROOF! Pet Concierge and we worked with Joan on long-term care for Siena, a dog owned by a woman who had hip surgery, during her recovery. Siena initially was very reactive to other dogs and people during her walks. Several months later Siena is a dream to take on walks and has become more confident and calm! We love taking Siena for her walks. Additionally, Joan is very professional, very reliable, very organized, and is just a pleasure to work with. We recommend her to anyone looking for a dog trainer!

Joan is a capable professional and took outstanding care of our two dogs. They love her and look forward to her coming to stay. She is courteous, clean, and takes excellent care of her wards. We always feel calm when Joan is at the house with our two dogs.
