My husband stopped by a while ago and fell in love with this little store so we had to go together on our latest visit to SF. We were looking for a few items for our dog as well as a basket he was making for work. They have such a great variety of toys, treats, food and other accessories and pet care items. We ended up getting some treats for our dog as well as a felt ball because he loved the last one we got from here. We also grabbed a toy to add to a pet basket. I could see locals becoming regulars here and if we bring our dog to SF for an adventure this will definitely be a stop we make with him.

We've been coming to Jeffrey's since we got our dog four years ago and we feel so lucky to have this wonderful local shop walking distance from us! Our dog loves coming here. Even when we're just walking by, our dog will wag his tail and pull us inside the store. It's his Toys R Us. We go weekly to pick up raw food and Don there always greets us with a smile. He knows our names and of course our dog's name, and has always been super helpful in helping us find the right products for our dog. He is super friendly with our dog which we appreciate because our dog is a big guy and we often experience people being apprehensive around him which I get. Our dog loves the raw food here. He loves everything here. The raw food is available in several sizes, we usually opt for the 32 oz. We used to get the 64 oz but it's a bit pricy and we needed to start budgeting tighter this year. He also loves the minnows and bully sticks! We've picked up bully sticks from other places but he loves these the most. They also have shampoos, ointments, tick spray, you name it! This is our go to for all things dogs. +And they have socials for puppies! It's a gem.

This review is so ridiculously overdue, I'm embarrassed. But, as I'm heading there today to stock up again, I figured this would be a great time to mention what a joy and privilege it is to have a store like this in the neighborhood. I mean, this isn't your average pet supply store. It is carefully curated, with the best of the best, an expert customer service, always, with a smile. Even folks that I haven't interacted with a lot, somehow know my name! I LOVE them. My dogs have had periods of such finicking us over the years--whenever I'm in a rut, they jump into action with samples and recommendations, and help me to find food that will work before needing to commit to large quantities. I fed one of my dogs their top rate raw food for years (highly recommended!), and when he stopped wanting it (go figure), I settled on Stella & Chewies after going thru a bunch of different samples. Then they started stocking S&C's "Stella's Stew" and my dog blew a gasket when I added it to his dry food. And don't even get me started on the split tendons! It feels so good knowing I have a place to go where they not only know my name, but truly have your pet's best interest at heart. The prices are more than worthwhile. Don't hesitate to try them out if you haven't--you'll be so glad you did!!

I feel so very fortunate that my baby has access to the excellence this store has to offer! What a wonderful shop. All items within this store are of the highest quality - from shampoos and conditioners, to local organic treats and meal toppers, and to toys and bully sticks! This store has everything and is run by such lovely people who really prioritize your pet's wellbeing, happiness, and care.The store is kept very neat and clean, and you are always welcomed warmly by the employee on site. Training is also available. Everything is so organized! I can spend hours just looking at the shelves and collection of toys.Fantastic store. I HIGHLY recommend. My friends from out of state come to the city just to visit this store and get their high quality treats for their babies. 100% worth every penny and visit!

This is by far my favorite neighborhood store. They provide food that is both the healthiest and of the highest quality for your animal companion. The staff are great and learn your name as well as your pet's name. It is the ultimate personal touch that makes this city and neighborhood worth living in.

I've been bringing my dog here for years. They will know you and your dog's name in no time. They are genuine dog lovers who have knowledge of dog health care and the products they sale. They even offer to deliver purchases to my door out of kindness. I'm a loyal customer.

This by far is the best pet store in the City! We have a Cavalier King Charles. He absolutely loves the raw food, especially the turkey feast. He also can't get enough of the home made jerky--it is our magic trick for training him. The place is also so darn cute with awesome toys that are San Francisco themed. You also can not beat the knowledgeable and friendly staff. They might know more than my vet! If you have a pet, this is the place to be. It is an awesome shop, and also community jewel. I took my pup here for puppy socials before he got all his shots and more recently for a workshop with Tammy Mehmed. We learnt so much during the workshop and my pup enjoyed training with Tammy. Everyone at the store is incredibly helpful. I have been purchasing treats here for a while. They are high quality and my pup loves them. Highly recommend on all fronts

I am so glad I found Jeffrey's! The store has a wide variety of food my dog was able to try. We found the right brand for her thanks to Lynnet! Both her and her staff have been consistently helpful and very nice every time I have been there! I'm grateful to have found such a store where it feels good to buy something and get treated like you (and your pet) matter. Love them!
