Disappointed. Booked an appointment for 10:30 am and the door were locked. So that was two Uber rides down the drain. Now I have to rush home and do my own hair.

SHE BURNED MY HAIR OFF. I saw Milkia for a wash and press. I was uncomfortable with her using the "old school" metal prongs to straighten my hair (that had ZERO TEMPERATURE CONTROL but she was very dismissive and insisted "my texture" needed that thing and I decided to trust in her "expertise." I am so regretful and upset I didn't trust my gut. I was flat out burned at least 5 times throughout the session even though I was very still - right at the beginning she burned me so bad I HAD A BLISTER on my scalp 4 weeks later. AND I didn't know until today that two of those times she burned 2 whole PATCHES of 3 YEARS WORTH of hair off and then kept quiet. I am HEARTBROKEN and EXTREMELY UPSET. THIS WILL TAKE YEARS TO GROW BACK AND BE THE SAME LENGTH AS THE REST OF MY HAIR. Because of this, I won't trust another "pro stylist" to straighten my hair for at least a few YEARS. I wish she at least told me. I am heartbroken.

I dropped by this place because their website phone number was not in service. I drive by here frequently so i stopped in to see about getting a simple wash blow dry and flat iron. There were not too Buddy and was able to take me at that time. When my hair was being blow dried i noticed that the stylist was not using really high heat. I thought that was nice. My hair lasted two weeks which is really never the case. Usually my hair lasts about 3 days. It was nice to have my hair trimmed and styled. The price at the end of the service was more than double what their website says. Very disappointed in that. However i finally after two weeks washed my hair and it was straight. My normally wavy hair has no curls/waves. I rewashed it and did a really cool water rinse which usually pops my child back. Wow. No curls. I believe the shampoo was mixed with relaxer. I've heard about this but never experienced it. I'm very disappointed in this. I have been natural no relaxer or hair dye for more than 15 years. Back to the drawing board. If you're not a regular don't come here. It's sad that they chose to do what they want and not what you ask. Don't cone here. Beware
