Love this small. Wish I could go back often. From chain stores to small shops. Very affordable too

It is a medium to small shopping center where you can find everything from food to gadgets etc. all typical Japanese. A tour inside is a must in San Francisco.

It’s very good, lovely shops and plenty to see, do and eat! There is no air conditioning, not much seating and I’m surprised that there aren’t more cultural activities.
I go nearly every other weekend, and love this place. I can’t wait for the courtyard and pagoda to reopen!

Too bad it was under renovation. It looks like the open area in the center is very nice, but I assume they were leaving it better. In general, the locals are equal. Some look authentically Japanese and others are an American imitation. If you are in the area, you can stop by if you have time. ??

A wide variety of shops. Plenty of food options if you get hungry. Most shops do not allow food or drinks so you will have to finish eating/drinking before entering

$$$$ anime stores, but they have really good food options near the plaza, in general the mall is pretty dead which is nice

Visit: September 2024
Tons of food and small stores to see in the mall. It connects to "other malls". Lots of places for books, jewellery, and stationary.
There was a pagoda outside of the mall as well, but it was under construction when I went :(
Highly recommend a visit!

Lived next to this place for six weeks.
It's... all right? I remember when this kind of place used to be magical but it just doesn't hit the same. I'm giving it four stars though because it has a trash can.
Seriously, San Antonio Texas hates taxes so much that it can barely fix its potholes but you tech gazillionaires can't afford basic garbage collection?
Do better. Or don't, actually; I don't live here so your move.
