Amazing store who accepts people as they come. Why it come with heavy heart i say this. This individual has on repeated days spanning back since October 31st 2023, been seen harassing homeless people in the neighborhood saying homophobic slurs. And justice needs to be done. Who is this guy and his boss needs to be made aware of this horrible treatment of the LGBTQ and homeless community. This post is only because he lives near here and the location of the multiple hate crimes is as well.Edit: his name is Benjamin and he was witnessed pepper spraying a homeless for no reason and seen running by here. Police reported and report filed. He is now wanted for assault and hate crimes. If seen please report sighting to cops. This man is a danger.

While exploring, I happened upon this store by chance and decided to enter to offer my compliments to one of the staff members or the owner (she was wearing glasses, and she has a stylish half dark brown/black and half light golden colored hair) regarding the store. However, I was taken back by the noticeably disdainful impatient look from the individual, as if she wished for me to cease speaking and leave the store. It’s disheartening to encounter such behavior in 2023, especially when my intention was to express genuine admiration for their store. While I cannot be certain, I couldn’t help but wonder if the incident was influenced by me being the only non-white person in the store. Regardless of the reason, it is crucial to respect all individuals. Every person deserves equal treatment and respect, regardless of their race or ethnicity...

Amazing store and service! There are so many fun pieces available that are vintage modern. Speaking of great customer service, they were such great help with a hole in a piece I was looking at. Highly recommend stopping by and taking a look on Haight St!!

Indigo Vintage has some of the best inventory for vintage and archival pieces on Haight Street. With so many more historic shops on the block, and them being a bit more new, they really pack a powerful punch with their inventory and multi-source model for getting clothes in. The store is organized rack-by-rack and arranged with a rack-per-vendor type of approach. There are dozens of racks, and each vendor has a different vibe and speciality. Some vendors focus on vintage tour tees, other focus more on vintage sports gear, others focus on sportswear basics. You can really browse in this store and see something from the past that sparks a memory and deep nostalgia. The prices can be a bit steep, but the pieces here are true retro and archival pieces. It is more new school as a vintage qualifier, but if you have the patience and the right knowledge, you can come out with something good. I've found vintage ULCA sweaters for my cousin (go bruins) and have found my favorite hood, a 1996 Olympics hood with embroidered detail in all-black. There is so much in this location, and I encourage you to stop by and check out their selection.

Okay. Random things labeled y2k and marked 10 times up. Also, many other overpriced items like $48 yarn "bolero"

Indigo has a good selection of vintage/curated pieces so I always try to stop by when I'm vacationing in San Francisco. I used to go out of my way to browse through the pieces they have for a good 30-60 min every trip!Unfortunately the past few times I've gone in the staff have been unfriendly with a look of pure boredom on their faces. Every time I come in, there's always a new employee with the same bad attitude. Prices have also gone up drastically. With the combination of these two things, I probably won't be coming back.

This place has a bunch of super cool vintage farm 60s 70s 80s 90s I need an early 2000s as well. Refined by prices and the average in stores things are in very decent shape and they're easy to go through. It's a collective of a few different thrift vendors. and they also sell and cool knickknacks and candles.

As someone who is also in customer service, I completely understand how exhausting / tiring it can be, sometimes, but the service here was unnecessarily rude. My partner and a couple of our friends came in today to window shop. When we got into the second subset of the store, there was apparently an incline in the floor boarding that was covered by a carpet. My partner tried their best to be careful but it turns out it wasn't an incline but a very hollow and loose part of the floor boarding, causing their ankle to roll and twist, falling to the floor completely. My partner has already suffered previous ankle injuries. My partner did not want to be a bother, so they gently went to two workers in the front of the store and told them about what happened should no one else trip, since it is a safety hazard to cover something like that with a carpet. They were quickly dismissed with a curt reply and when my partner's back was turned, they glared at them and shook their heads. We can only hope this will shed light on how to better treat customers and not ignore safety hazards such as these.

One of the best selection of men’s shirts and jackets of any thrift store I can remember. A cheap men’s shirt here (in April 2022) is $35, a normal men’s t shirt is $45. I love their approach of showcasing multiple independent vendors… I think it’s what makes the selection so vibrant. The selection at nearby stores feel much more soulless or just like a factory.

Great selection of vintage clothes here. Found an awesome forest green corduroy jacket and hair clips that I wear almost everyday now. Prices are a little higher than some thrift stores but I find it's worth it. The atmosphere is also cozy and there's a coffee shop inside it!
