Incredible store, great selection and prices! I came in to get dahi vada. They didn’t have the frozen brand at the moment we were looking for but they were super helpful and friendly while searching for it. We ended up talking briefly and they gave us mango juice to go as we were leaving - really sweet couple!

Has a lot of things and my go to local Indian store, I love supporting local business and I’ll still go but need to give people a warning what you’re dealing withI’m used to no customer service but no one should accept rude behaviors and being ignored completely. The items I prepaid for were not available I asked for substitute or refund and straight up no response in person.. if you’re planning on having a nice day don’t go here but if you absolutely need to get things just prepare yourself.

Except for vegetables and fruits, they keep all the dry goods and frozen food.

I came here a couple times as an instacart shopper and they are always helpful to me, it definitely makes the job a lot easier. I’ll have to look up some recipes so I can come support them myself.

Luckily I go to the hospital a block or do away so when a recipe that I wanted to try came up (as it required paneer and I was like where am I going to find paneer)? Well this is the place. They have many things there. I was a bit overwhelmed as there are numerous Indian foods/products but the downside is I don’t think it’s organized well. I just kept walking around from fridge case to fridge case (they are in at least 3 different places).Thankfully I found what I was looking for and left. It just could be better if organized better. And there aren’t many Indian grocery stores in SF.

SUCH A RIP OFF! They charged us double for 4 packs of noodles, wanted to sell tomato and onion for $1.99/each and when we mentioned about price being too high, they were very rude. Felt they are paying me for shopping there.

Such an Indian store. They have everything but you need to find it and sometimes it's hidden behind a door. Don't forget to look on the floor as well!

I don't cook Indian food but this place seems like it has it all. A small little mom and pop shop and they are so friendly and always helpful. The man at the cashier is always so sweet and kind. ( forgot his name but he wears glasses) One night, he was locking up the shop already because they closed at 8:30 and i got there @8:38 and he reopened and helped me with my order and was so patient with no complaints. Excellent customer service!!!! Definitely go and support the local Indian shop.

Dusty, poorly organized, poor selection. Many pickles and chutneys are past their sell by date. Prices are a little higher than expected.

On the good side, this store carries lots of things that we're delighted are now available a short walk from home (instead of a drive to Berkeley): spices, spicy snacks, fresh curry leaves, jarred and canned condiments. This place and the one on 22nd are the best upgrades to the yuppie side of the Mission in years. Watch your wallet, though. Some items aren't price-tagged, so you might wonder whether what they charge you is fair or consistent. More seriously, I'm at least the second reviewer to have had a dollar more charged to my credit card than my receipt showed. If that was for using credit, the way to do that is to give me a credit card receipt with the full charge. It wouldn't be worth a dollar of anybody's time to go over there and argue, but my credit card company's automatic dispute resolution process has already spotted me the dollar, and I suppose the reports will add up eventually. But hey, I prefer cash too, and now that I know the rules, getting in and out of there without getting rooked will just add spice to my spicy snacks.
