I had the oddest experience at this store the other day. I asked if they sold chocolate and the sales person said yes and brought our 3 boxes of chocolate in different sizes: a small box, a sleeve of cookies, and a large round box. She then removed the lids and showed me what they looked like: the small box had 3 truffles inside; the sleeve had thin orange-flavored cookies that she smelled and let me smell and the large box had several layers of truffles. I just needed a small gift so I said I would take the small box. She then said, 'these are yours' and put the box next to the magic whisk I was buying. I was astonished and said I would like a fresh box, not one that had been open and was clearly meant to be on display. She looked flustered and went to the back and came out and said that was the last box. I can't believe she tried to sell me that open box; moreover, when I got home I realized I was charged $9.78 for a whisk that bore an $8 price tag. I know that SF is having issues hiring retail help but I will not return to this store. It was a disheartening experience especially after having come from Anthem down the street with it's gorgeous interiors and welcoming, friendly staff that didn't try to sell me an open box of candy or overcharge me $1.00. Stay away from this shady shop!

I recently ordered a lemon tree as a Christmas gift for my wife through this apparent reseller, Hudson Grace. When it arrived it was fully dead, with the leaves appearing as if the plant had spent time in a food dehydrator ... many of the leaves were falling off, all wrinkled and dried to a brittle crisp. Given the shipping delays for an item that was ordered on Dec 12th and not delivered until Dec 26th, this clearly led to the likely death of the plant. The reseller has refunded the purchase, but I would not buy again from this source.

I absolutely love the store. They are so helpful. I have purchased art, vases, potholders, and I love their dish and hand soap.

It's been 10 days since I ordered a gift from their website and I have no idea where my order is. One service agent informed me that it shipped but they never provided tracking information to verify. I've emailed their customer service multiple times for an update on whereabouts of the gift order and never received a response. The gift recipient confirmed she has not received anything. Since I can't seem to reach anyone, I'll have to go through my credit card company to get a refund. This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced.

I went here for the first time today and was immediately greeted with grace. The woman that helped me was Kirstie and she was the sweetest, literally helped me pick out my Christmas gifts, wrapped them, and helped me carry them to my car! I believe the other sweet guy who helped me was named Lemond, he also helped me wrap the 20 items I bought. Never once made me feel like an inconvenience for having so many items and holding up the line. I am so grateful and they both made my day!! Highly Highly Highly recommended, the store itself has impeccable taste! Thank you

I found the candles I was looking for at Hudson Grace! Cire Trudon is a high end candle brand from France. Found HG stores were having their 9 year anniversary sale (20% off everything including Trudon candles)! They had the classic scents but also some special candles in colorful red, blue and white glass vessels. I bought one as a gift for an high end family member :) The store also had table topic books of glamorous destinations, stemware and plates. Their house brand of candles were of various American locations. Small store but provides items for interior decorators. Today is the last day of their weekend sale...I got their just in time.

I am giving a one star only because of a specific product-- their candles. They smell great but when I light a Hudson Grace candle my Dyson air purifier light indicator goes from green to red within minutes. I have tons of candles in my home from a variety of brands that do not cause the indicator to change. I am not sure what is in the Hudson Grace candles but I will no longer buy them.

An unusual and beautiful number of items that will make you drool with want and desire. The Cire Trudon candles are probably the most wonderful scented candles on earth. Silk rugs to die for. Helpful staff willing to help with any questions. This is a high quality sundries store; it is not a discount store, but they do have occasional sales. You get what you pay for, and what you get at Hudson Grace is quality and items for a lifetime. Highly recommended.

The stuff was nice, but a little overpriced in my opinion. The sales lady was way too pushy and over the top. I couldn't look at ANYTHING without her going into a full on monologue about how amazing and one of a kind that item is, and how it was such a great price (the prices were NOT great by any means) Made me want to leave quickly.

Love love love Hudson Grace. The owners Gary and Monelle have impeccable taste and style and it shows in every way. The store aesthetic, smells and the flow of it is kind of a small shopkeepers dream. Love the gals who work there and their HG candles smells so good. They have big tent sales a couple times a year and they are not to be missed !
