I've been going to the same location on Geary and seeing Kathy Liu now for over a decade. She is so incredibly knowledgable and makes sure everything gets included. I highly recommend her and H&R Block!

H&R Block has been doing my taxes for years, but only with an online virtual tax pro. This is the first year I used this local office. I had the worst experience. The tax pro could not find my documents online, even though I could see them on the H&R app on my phone while sitting across from the tax pro. Because of the technical issues on their end, I printed and brought my paperwork in. I didn't hear back for 5 days, so I called for an update about my tax returns directly. I thought perhaps it takes 7-10 business's days for in-person clients and wanted to verify when they'd be done. My call led to the office discovering that the office lost my entire envelope of tax documents. They didn't even know it was lost until my call. My documents vanished, they told me not to come in (phone support helped me with filing an extension), and then my documents reappeared days later without much explanation. No idea why, where, or when they were misplaced. I'm afraid anyone can have their documents lost here, at this rate. I've been speaking with H&R Block phone support through this ordeal, and it is still being sorted out. The office says everything with a smile, but not much substance. I do not recommend this office.

for the last three times I made an appointment online, I arrived to find my name not in the system or the time was changed at the last minute to one that I could not make. I took time off of work to make these appointments, so having it changed 3 times was quite inconvenient.

Find yourself a real CPA, this office is horrible. I simply do not trust H&R Block, they are simply prepare your taxes. Not CPA's. Nobody in this office could do our taxes for 2020 & 2021. One married couple with one home and two rentals. This should be a simple return for anyvtax person employed by this company (otherwise why are they working there?) I diffently will never go to any H& R Block again. What a horrible first experience.
