495 Jefferson St, San Francisco“Great hotel and great location. Tenzin and the staff were great. Our server Juan Carlos (aka JC) was amazing and our bartender Jason was great. The food was outstanding as were the views.
Rooms: Well maintained and great views.
Food & drinks: You will want to start your day with JC at the Blue Mermaid and end your day with Jason at the bar.”
“A faultless one. Very good stay, the hotel is very clean, the bed is comfortable, really wonderful and luxurious pillows, spacious room with street view but well soundproofed. The service is very professional. Cleaning done every day, or not at your request. Very good location right next to a tram station leading to Powell Street metro station which connects to the airport. In the middle of Union Square with all its restaurants and shops (Nike etc.). Breakfast is available on the ground floor, coffee and tea with very good homemade cookies, free of charge and unlimited. This is completely sufficient.”

665 Bush St #1, San Francisco“Aside from one particular detail, I had a great stay here a couple months ago. They have great rooms and wonderful staff. Unfortunately there was one front desk employee who kept locking the hotel doors every evening, so I had to knock and wait when returning to my room late, and he also asked me to prove I was staying there by showing him my keycard when I returned between 10 and 11pm. As I was working in SF and attending work events late into the evening, it didn’t feel very nice to be treated like a criminal. I’m not sure if this is standard practice for this hotel (he didn’t ask any other guests for their keycard, and the other employees who worked late on other nights didn’t lock me out) but I hope they will change this, as it’s the main reason I would not stay here again.”
“Stayed for two nights. Great location that is walking distance to most of the key places to visit in San Francisco. Property is well maintained, rooms are great with a comfy bed and convenient kitchenette. Will definitely be back!”

319 Divisadero St, San Francisco“Lovely small hotel in a nice neighborhood.
Rooms are small , but who wants to stay inside in SF? Beds are great . No parking, but we found a space a block away , just be sure to move your car before you get a ticket.
Rooms: Bed is very comfy”

2 New Montgomery St, San Francisco“Amazing staff. Beautiful hotel within the financial district. The included breakfast every morning was superb and in an amazing setting. The only opportunity I would suggest is offering dressers/a chest of drawers in the rooms. Otherwise, fabulous!”
“One of the best stays at a hotel I've ever had. All 3 shifts of the front desk were top notch. I have never had front desk agents treat my friend and I the way they did. 3 separate times we came back in the evening and there were no 1st level parking spots, all 3 times the 2nd shift front desk guy came out and moved HIS car so we could park, dude even walked up to the 2nd level garage and stopped me just to let me have his spot. These guys need raises ! Great location, great price, and clean.”

520 Church St, San Francisco“I had the most wonderful stay at Parker Guest House in May 24. The stunning property is straight out of ‘Tales of the City’ and my room was spacious, bright, and looked out over the beautiful gardens. Having a lovely continental breakfast each day was fuelling for a day of exploring. From the Parker it’s an easy 10-minute walk up to the Castro and the Muni station which takes you everywhere you’ll want to go. This stay was recommended to me by friends who had stayed there in the past and I’m now passing it on.”

501 Post St, San Francisco“It was my first time in San Francisco and booked The Donatello thru timeshare! Pictures on timeshare needs to be updated because rooms were spacious, beautiful and did not expect kitchenette! Location, staff service & rooms were excellent and would stay again or recommend. My only negative comment is to have 2 queen or 2 double bed options!”

340 Stockton St, San Francisco“Was it a solid hotel? Yes. But I expected more given the following of Taj & this being a 5 star hotel. The restaurant is under maintenance so it’s room service only. The bed was very comfortable but the room wasn’t anything extraordinary. They have minimal snacks (chocolate croissants) put out in the morning time. The door staff and housekeeping was incredible — probably the best part of the service! They went above and beyond to delight. So overall, a good place to stay but nothing that’ll blow you away.”

757 Market St, San Francisco“Nayeli and Manny at the bar were some of the funniest and kindest people ever! nayeli was on top of the game and so sweet. Manny made sure we have the best time and was so sweet. couldn't recommend them more. 11/10.”

1500 Sutter St, San Francisco“This really is somewhere that you would enjoy spending more than one night. We were sad to leave! Each member of staff we encountered was lovely, the decor was beautiful (the lobby and lift were very cool) and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was great, too.We particularly enjoyed our conversations with the lovely Manoj on reception, who gave us such a warm welcome on arrival and kindly assisted with an early check-in, a surprise room upgrade (beautiful room) and helped us arrange a taxi when we were in a rush to get to our pre-arranged tour on Alcatraz. Thank you so much - you made our stay so special and we will remember your kind hospitality.”

2026 Lombard St, San Francisco“Had to book this motel last minute and the gentleman running the desk was extremely helpful. At one point during my stay I forgot to put my parking pass in the window, and he prevented my car from getting towed just because he remembered what car I came in. The price was very reasonable for something so central, especially since off-street parking was free. The building might seem a bit dated, but the room was immaculately clean and the beds comfortable. A good value stay in the city!”

601 Eddy St, San Francisco“I have no complaints about the front desk service. The staff were very nice, welcoming, and accommodating to my occasion. However, aside from the service, the hotel is not perfect. It was not super clean, especially my room’s restroom. There were loose hairs on most surfaces, see photos. I also want to warn others that this hotel is in a very noisy area, which can’t be helped, but I think it is fair to point out. Lots of traffic noise, honking, and loud music throughout the day and night. I would say this hotel isn’t the best for a restful night’s sleep.”

1750 Lombard St, San Francisco“Motel with very thin walls, you can hear the neighbors snoring. Clean room but with a musty smell. Cleanliness ok good location for fort mason about 15 minute walk from the pier. Free parking. It does its job for the cost”

2690 46th Ave, San Francisco“What a delightful little vintage motel! Great location; friendly, helpful staff; quaint rooms; onsite parking. Don't miss the jacuzzi; it is a perfect way to end the day after touring the City. Definitely will be back!”
“SPECIAL SHOUTOUT TO TUAN THE BELLMAN, AND ALL THREE MEN (AND A WOMAN) AT THE FRONT DESK! THEY ALL DID THEIR BEST TO MAKE SURE I WAS HAPPY AND ACCOMMODATED!YOU CAN TELL TUAN AND THE VALET (I believe from El Salvador), ON THE NIGHT SHIFT OF MARCH 15th, TRULY LOVE TO SERVE FROM THEIR HEARTS! And the WOMAN TENDING THE BAR FROM POLAND!!!! I’M SO SORRY I DIDN’T CATCH YOUR NAME! YOU WERE SOOO FRIENDLY AND HAD REALLY GOOD TASTE IN FOOD! SHE WAS SOOOO GENUINELY CARING! THE YOUNG WOMAN WAITRESS AT ELLIOTT’S ON MARCH 16th (sorry IDK your name but she wears glasses), SHE WAS SUPER NICE TO ME JUST A SWEET SPIRIT! I HAVE TO SAY EVERYONE WAS EXCEPTIONALLY NICE AND HAD GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, AND I KNOW GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.THIS HOTEL ALSO RECOGNIZES AND ACKNOWLEDGES YOUR MARRIOTT REWARDS STATUS, AND THEY HAVE SUPER GOOD PERKS LIKE CREDITS FOR BREAKFAST OR MARRIOTT POINTS JUST TO SAY ‘WELCOME’ & ‘THANK YOU’! (Cookies and champagne ?).The staff never treated me poorly or looked down on me… I’m so grateful and would recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting SF. ?!I stayed at Hotel Adagio for the second time Today! I also stayed here back in December 2023. It was a beautiful hotel with all the Christmas decorations and holiday cheer. There were no homeless people to step over as I had read about in other reviews. To be fair, in Dec 2023 the city had just rid the streets of all the homeless secondary to the state of arrival of the Chinese president. This second time, around 3 months later, there STILL were no homeless people in site (may The Lord Bless them and keep them safe).I felt completely safe walking around outside to get in Lyfts or find the valet. (Single female here). This was a staycation for me, however, when I am out of town I like resorts or hotels that have a luxurious feel, or close to that anyway. This Hotel, while it isn’t a resort, is more than sufficient. They keep the inside looking well kept and clean. It doesn’t feel like, let’s say, you’re staying at a “Residence Inn” (NO SHADE TO RESIDENCE IN, THERE’s a time for that type of hotel). I needed a break from kids, and to relax. I also booked a massage at Burke Williams which is only 5 mins away via Lyft. If you need R&R, I highly recommend this hotel and that spa!Thank you again Hotel Adagio, I can’t wait to visit you all again! May The Lord Jesus bless you all abundantly for your service!????????????”
“Pristine, elegant hotel with excellent service at an unbeatable location. The Presidio is a National Park so federal police patrols this area as apposed to city police. Self parking is easy ($13 per night behind the hotel). There are a million things to do at the Presidio and there’s a free Presidio Go shuttle that takes you downtown and back. The rooms are modern and large compared to others in SF. Continental breakfast (no eggs or bacon) is included. There is no bar which didn’t matter to me. There is gym access at the Presidio YMCA (5 minute walk). The staff is very nice and service is excellent especially since the hotel is owned by the Presidio Trust, not a big hotel chain (Hyatt/Marriott,etc). Pricey but worth it especially if you are traveling with kids. We felt safe and taken care of.”
“Great stay everything was very clean and all staff that interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was not great though so do not pay the extra $20 per day we didn't use it at all.Walkability: Very close to Golden Gate Bridge, Lombard Street, Fisherman's Wharf and shopping.”

590 Bush St, San Francisco“Great rustic facility. The staff is awesome, Cece helped with short notice tour to Muir Woods, and Jason was always spot on with dining locations and transportation options! Overall a great visit and I look forward to returning.Rooms: The rooms are one bedroom 2 baths, great if you have company.”

550 North Point St, San Francisco“Top location, nice rooms, good breakfast. One tip. Bayview room unnecessary, you don't see much. City view on the upper floor is much better.Nearby activities: Fisherman's Wharf just around the corner, cable car - terminus too. Locals, shops”

4230 18th St, San Francisco“Super! This place is perfect. It’s just the right amount of everything. The cleaners are super lovely. All the self check in is very smooth. We would definitely recommend this place to others. Clean, cozy, to the point and enjoyable ❤️”

1353 Bush St, San Francisco“This place rocks! Literally. I love the theme rooms, the cleanliness, and the staff when I visited were great. Not the cheapest but not the grungiest hotel in SF either. It is worth the value. And if you like music then you'll appreciate the history and camaraderie that this place brings. If you are tired of hostels that are packed and unclean... try this place and see what option would work best for you... recommend it!”
“Lovely boutique hotel by JDV. I selected it for this reason. I was traveling alone and chose this for safety and cleanliness. They’ve have security and underground parking. The neighborhood was also walkable. I felt safe walking from there to Haight. LThe young lady who checked me in was professional and thorough. My room was bigger than I expected and very clean. I was also impressed by the bathroom amenities.I’ll absolutely return.”
“First time at this hotel, but was impressed with accommodations and service of the staff. We have another place to stay when up in the city.Rooms: Room was nice with a pseudo industrial vibe.Walkability: Close to Fisherman's Wharf, this hotel has great access to local spots. Lots of good walking up the embarcadero.”

125 3rd St, San Francisco“Stayed here for a couple of nights to attend a wedding. Got a good deal with all sorts of upgrades and extras by booking through Amex. From check-in to departure the entire staff was helpful, polite, and so very kind. The staff is a huge reason for the 5 star rating. We stayed in a Grand Deluxe king room and it was very well appointed. All the furnishings were newer, the room had a great view, plenty of water, robes, slippers, etc. Location was central, walking distance to tons of shopping and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.”

465 Grove St, San Francisco“We stayed at the Inn on Grove for 5 nights. Brien, the general manager, was kind and helpful. When we arrived early, he stored our luggage, gave us recommendations for lunch spots and got out room ready early. He gave us tips for getting around town and what to see. Excellent service.
The rooms were clean and spacious. The plumbing was very noisy. Every time we flushed the toilet it made a strange and loud sound. We could hear our upstairs neighbour's walking in their room. The bed was comfotable but the pillows were awful. The hotel is more of a motel that has been updated.
The Hayes Valley neighborhood is vibrant and filled with great restaurants. These are walkable from the hotel. The Painted Ladies and Almo Square are a short walk away. The Civic center is close by and public transport is easily accessible so that you can see the sights. The major sights are bit of a distance.
I would stay again.”
12:00 AM - 11:59 PM
661 Broadway, San Francisco“Very friendly staff and a perfect location.
If there is capacity, you can park your car for free. Maybe the parking lot can be full, if the hotel is fully booked,
We felt very safe. Of course the rooms could be more modern, but for that price it is absolutely fair!”
“Clean facility and well served by public transport. Free parking. Great location. Helpful staff, daily cleaning. Excellent quality/price ratio.
Rooms: Decent beds. Daily cleaning. Coffee machine. Fridge, freezer, microwave and TV. Separate sink.”
