The hotel is great but there is zero noise isolation. You can hear absolutely everything in the rooms next to you. Not good at all for business trips

The hotel has an updated design, and most comfortable bed and pillows, but the noise insulation is extremely poor and below standard. Be aware, some rooms have connecting doors with no soundproofing and literally a gap with light shining through, allowing you to hear conversations, bathroom matters and TV from neighboring rooms as if in the same room.
The staff is friendly but the excessive noise made it hard for me to fully enjoy the hotel. Despite its central location, the area feels unsafe at night. Beware if you’re a solo female or a couple female friends, you will need to cab back if coming back to hotel after 7pm as it can feel extremely uneasy to walk near hotel even from bus stop. Avoid Larkins side!!!For the price, the noise and surroundings make it feel more like a hostel.

Beautiful hotel, I had a great stay, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was super nice and accommodating.
Asal was extremely helpful and professional, she made sure that I will get the best service possible.
I highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms: Avoid adjoining rooms, due to noise issues.

Noise there is a door in the room which opens directly onto the next room we see their light we hear them talking flushing the toilet, no sound insulation we hear every car passing through the window. Also, there was a baby crying all night in the next room and the receptionist was unable to change rooms for me.
Noisy hotel in the atmosphere. Unacceptable that this can exist today, truly detestable. Bad experience to avoid.

The hotel was a very pleasant stay when we were there in September. The staff was extremely friendly, and the room (we were on the 1st floor) was perfectly fine. There was a little fridge, which was much appreciated. We didn't hear any noise from the adjoining room either. There was no wine happy hour and no bar on site - I think those were under previous management. But the free coffee in the lobby was much appreciated, even if the lines got long sometimes! Location-wise, the street its on seems residential but you're only a block or so away from the Tenderloin so just have some common sense as you would in any big city. We felt very safe. We'd come back and stay here again!

200€ deposit upon passage
I am correcting the note because after an unpleasant night we have to change the room
For a slightly more soundproofed room.

This hotel was a very nice experience! The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean. The room was also very spacious and had a nice bathroom. However there was no air conditioning and I stayed during a random October heat wave so the room was very hot. There was a ceiling fan that helped a little and opening the windows also helped a little. But overall it was a very nice stay. I did not see many homeless people outside the hotel like some other reviews mentioned. However I was not outside late at night. I felt safe in the area even as a solo female traveler. I would stay here again!

The hotel has a sleek design, but the noise insulation is extremely poor and below standard. Be aware, some rooms have connecting doors with no soundproofing and literally a gap with light shining through, allowing you to hear conversations and TV from neighboring rooms as if in the same room. I had to change rooms because of this, which was inconvenient. The new room had no connecting door but was still too noisy for a hotel. The staff is friendly but the excessive noise made it hard for me to fully enjoy the hotel. Despite its central location, the area feels unsafe at night. For the price, the noise and surroundings make it feel more like a hostel. The hotel should inform guests if rooms have connecting doors prior to booking, as leaving this out feels misleading.
Rooms: Clean and spacious but very noisy
Safety: The surroundings of the hotel at night can be dodgy.

There is no clock in my room. Not able to get any local news on their TV service.
A howling wind sound came from somewhere all night.
Otherwise the hotel is very clean and well maintained

Honestly a hidden gem despite being located next to the infamous Tenderloin community of SF. I wasn't expecting too much since we did book a hotel that suited our budget for this trip. However, once we got to our room I was genuinely surprised on how clean and modern everything was. They also have lockers for you to store you belongings before you checkin/out so you can explore the city hands free. Props to the individual who returned my wallet to the front desk!

Very nice hotel. Clean and calm.
Location is ok, but close to the bad quarters with many homeless people and smelly street.
