My first time ever stepping foot into a luxury goods store. I told the sales woman I was looking for a nice belt to purchase for myself after graduating in a few months. She was very kind and helpful. She let me try on multiple belts and helped me pick out the one that looks best on me. No judgement or bad service even though she was fully aware I wouldn’t make a purchase that day.

Double standards. Some staff let people purchase even they are arrival, not departure. Some don’t let arrival people buy, which is fine, but overall the staffs are not well educated nor providing a equivalent service which matches Hermès’ price.

sales has no effort to sell, dont even bother to help, judgemental, one of the sales was talking in Chinese she just wanted some customers to leave asap, ruin the mood and waste of time to even go in. why should I pay someone who treats customers like that?

As part of the explosion of luxury brands at airports, I have to admit to being perplexed and lets face it I am clearly not a 1% but do people really come in and drop 5 figures on stuff while transiting through and airport? Obviously yes given the increasing numbers of top end houses. It's quite small and despite the fact that my son and I were clearly there to simply look around, the staff was professional and quite polite which I appreciated. The goods and material were fun to look at the scarves were exqusid in design and material

Unfriendly, judgemental, and gate keeping staff. The mark up for Hermes must be so high that they employ these policies of determining whether someone is worthy of shopping there with a single glance.

I did immediately get acknowledged when I entered the store. The employee asked where I was flying to. I told the truth, which was a domestic departure. She let me know they can only sell to people with international departures because they are duty free. I have no problem if that is the rule, but my reason for the 3-star rating is that there should be some notification to passengers about this before they walk the entire airport. Frankly, I do not mind exercise but it may work a physical hardship on others.

Located in the international terminal at SFO, this small store provides a moment to find colorful high end fashion at higher end prices; duty free. The store front displays is colorful and playful. The store itself has ties, scarfs, hats, jewelry, sweaters and more. It was actually slightly bigger inside than I expected before walking in. While I wasn't looking to purchase, I did enjoy walking through the shop during my layover.

This is a cute boutique. They have an okay selection of scarfs, ties and accessories that are priced high enough to make you skip Starbucks for a few months. If you like silky smooth items and willing to pay top dollar for them, this is your spot. I'm not a fan of the pastel colors they had for men ties, I will have to wait until next season to see what colors are hot then. The bucket hat here was $300 to $440. I'll pass on all and save my money for the trip.

I visited the store on Nov 24 around 4pm. I asked the employee (lady) working there questions about perfumes. She didn’t know anything and was rude. Should hire people who help customers and have good knowledge about store products.

The sales lady in this store has minimal knowledge of the product and very limited English communication skills. Didn’t expect airport store’s sales team quality could be so low!

Hermes just isn't a luxury experience anymore, as soon as you walk in you're measured and gauged to see if how much money they can exploit from you. That's all these SA's care about, rather than valuing every customer they only care about those that spend the most, a true sales professional knows that's not the way to go. Hermes is also one of the only luxury brands that condone wide spread bundling where we are told blatantly we need to spend at least 75% more to get a bag, after we told our SA there is nothing else we like she said fine, then at least 50%. Within 2 minutes it went from 75% to 50%, what a joke. She said Hermes has asked them to play this game. I guess Hermes is great for those who don't mind being bent over a barrel and totally being made a fool of, that's what Hermes is associated with when I see them nowadays. Sad that such a historical brand needs to play these extortion games to remain sought after, what a disgrace to the craft.
