This place overcharges. $260 for a 13 pond mini golden doodle?! We were told there is a charge for matted chest but I just brushed the dog one day before sending in for grooming. Pretty sure there is no mat……

Lori groomer was so nice to our pup. He was going through it, with recent infections and allergies and all the things, but she took really good care of him. Even though she wasn't sure she would be able to finish his cut, she did and she put a lot of time and love into it and I appreciate that so much.

The staff here are all fantastic, especially Nazneen! Pricing is fair and reward points help. I like how they never try to sell you a product or service that’s not right for your dog. I know they have our dogs best interest in mind. Thanks, Healthy Spot team

Checked out clothes for my 4 yr old dog B-Day and they had a 50% off jacket/clothes sale. My pup loved the outfits and the sherbet and b-day bones snacks!!!

I recently visited a Healthy Spot and had the pleasure of meeting Nazin who went above and beyond to ensure that my shopping experience was enjoyable and informative.She was extremely knowledgeable about all of the products in the store and was able to answer all of my questions in detail. She was also able to recommend products based on my dog's specific needs and even provided tips on how to properly use each item.I was impressed with her passion for dogs and commitment to ensuring that I the customer or any customer left the store with a product that would benefit their furry friend. She provided honest and helpful advice, which I greatly appreciated.Throughout my visit, she was patient and attentive, and I never felt rushed or pressured to make a purchase. She truly went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was positive and enjoyable.I highly recommend this retail associate to anyone in search of a knowledgeable and friendly dog store experience. Her exceptional customer service skills, expertise, and passion for dogs make her an asset to the store and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely be returning to this store in the future, and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to meet such a wonderful person. Healthy Spot will be losing a gem if she were ever to leave.

What kind of customer service and logic is this? Reaching out at 6:45 am saying a groomer is sick (they tried making excuses yesterday asking to switch my appointment). I had the earliest appointment today at 9 am. And their logic is since 1 groomer called out all the groomers appointments get cancelled? But they have time to do a trimming? I have already reached out to the owner of this location. Pathetic grooming services

Great and friendly neighborhood pet and grooming store. The staff are always helpful with answering any questions especially deciding on food or supplies for your pet. They are always generous on giving out free samples if they have the brand of food you are interested in trying. They also run frequent promotions for certain brands of pet food which is great.Also came here for grooming a few times and things went well. Only one time, my dog came out not fully dry. The appointments take about 4 hours which could be too long and could be traumatic for your pet.Glad that they are in the neighborhood for your pet’s needs! The location is also a block away from the dog park!

I've been coming here since my Frenchie was a puppy and now he's 5 years old and every time we come in the staff is super friendly! They've help us find the right food for my Frenchie and any other supplies we need for him. Thank you guys! You've been our favorite store ever since puppyhood to now!

We want to express our outrage with the Grooming services provided by the Mission Bay Health Spot.We chose Healthy Spot because even though they are more expensive than other groomers, they say they pride themselves in working in a partnership, and that they have grooming assistants to help with animals that have anxiety or stress. We were told these assistants (as well as their website says this) so that dogs that are stressed can get a break when they are upset.The truth of the matter is they leave your screaming dog in cages for hours! We had an appointment and when we came back for her over an hour later we could hear her from outside before we even got into the store. She was screaming and crying. We learned they had not even started her yet and had left her unattended this whole time in a cage. Obviously we immediately took her home. We are scared that this has happened on more than one occasion since the grooming for our 8lb maltipoo would take up to 4 hours.To communicate that you offer a groomer and a grooming assistant, and to charge for that and not have it but instead have a stressed out animal is abusive and irresponsible. She was so upset she wouldn't leave our side after we came home.They should be ashamed. We have reached out to their management and will update this review with their responses.Response from regional management (pretty generic and not really anything in offering assistance).“I'm so sorry to hear about your most recent experience at Mission Bay. We absolutely strive to be better! I live in Los Angeles and this is my second time visiting San Francisco and I came to drop off my dog at heathy spot for service's and Guillermo's team did an amazing job while I was there.

You don't expect much when you go into a pet store... Just some pet supplies, grooming, maybe day care. HOWEVER! The crew at healthy spot mission Bay- specifically Nasnine, Bianca, and Giermo are so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly- they take this pet store to another level. Nasnine remembers not only my dogs's name (Fondue), but her allergies, likes, and dislikes! She's friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. Fondue loves Nasnine and I really believe that Nasnine cares about Fondue.Bianca is the only person we want grooming our dog. She's done a great job grooming Fondue every time, and has stayed after her regular shift to make sure that Fondue's fur is thoroughly brushed!! Going above and beyond.
