I've had multiple works of various sizes and materials scanned by Hanson Digital. This includes a work which has reflective metallic elements that need to be captured with contrasting muted color. The works also included a large scroll that stretched multiple feet, and a hanging scroll which needed to be photographed mounted to the wall. All of these artworks contained incredibly small detail that a normal photo or scan would not do justice. The scans of my work I received are of the highest quality and are able to be magnified (zoomed) to display the most minor details in perfect resolution. This not only makes it possible to make high quality prints of my work but also to display my work on my portfolio in the best possible way. On my latest batch of scans with them, there was some confusion on my estimate and I was sent an invoice higher than I expected. After speaking with the staff they were able to work with me and sent me an adjusted invoice significantly reducing the cost to what I was expecting. Overall, a professional and great business that I look forward to getting my scans done at in the future.

They're masterful, they're magical and their integrity knows no bounds! This is going to be the most difficult review to write, as all of the superlatives in all of the languages of all of the universes, would be insufficent to describe Nick of Hanson Digital. Just after I passed the half-century mark, I received an old photo of my grandmother and me that just radiated the love between us - something I was not aware of earlier - long story. I had the photo framed, small enough to accompany on my travels, and somewhere along the line, it was misplaced. To say I was distraught would be an understatement. The only digital file was only 15.4 KB. I doubted anyone could really help me, but after reading the Hanson Digital reviews, decided to give them a try. I spoke with Nick and then sent the file to him. Initially he told me the work would require at most 3/4 of an hour. I made it very clear to him that cost was no object, as the photo was my most precious (and readers, as you read my review, NO, I am not Gollum, clutching his most precious ). In repeated conversations and as I saw the digital file of the "restored" photo and was impressed, I kept stating that if a longer time would result in even higher quality, Nick kept repeating in the negative, knowing full well I was willing to pay whatever he charged. We discussed printing in various sizes, and once again, Nick was extremely helpful The final charges were extremely reasonable. Then, the moment of truth slowly approached. I was on a very tight schedule, drove down and Nick gave me the photos, well-protected. As I already had developed full trust in him, I did not look at the photos, but waited until I was home later that evening. I was so glad that I waited to look - Nick had done such a masterful job of restoring and printing that my eyes filled with tears of joy. I can never thank him enough - though I am sending him another photo from that time period on which he can work his magic.

Mark, Nick, and Hunter at Hanson Digital have an extraordinary eye for detail, and went above and beyond to help select a great paper option and print/mount method for my large-scale project. I've never experienced the level of care and professionalism that they put into their craft. I'll only work with Hanson Digital going forward!

Great product here. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Great quality product. I had a nice print made on aluminum. Very pleased.

My husband is a painter and digital artist and having true color and tonal fidelity in prints is really important to us. We worked with printers in our own hometown and even in another state with subpar results. We were almost giving up on finding someone who could give us what we wanted, when the Hahnemuehle rep referred us to Mark. Mark talked to my husband on the phone, then had us send him the prints of one of the images that the other printers had produced and he analyzed the printing issues. After that he sent us *his* print of that image. What a difference! The before and after were just amazing. That was it for us! And that was four years ago... What sets Hanson Digital apart from other print outfits is the level of detail and meticulousness, the precision, and the very, very high standards of quality. That is why it's like no other shop. It's maintaining those standards that also counts. Not just having the great output once but each and every time, so the customer can rely on it and know what they'll be getting. Besides being the consummate professional, Mark is SUCH a nice guy. He's the ultimate package deal. It is really a pleasure to work with him. He also runs a tight ship with great help. Nick recently did a print for us that looks just wonderful. San Francisco is fortunate to have Hanson Digital.

I wanted to take some printouts of digital Procreate artwork that I recently purchased. I’m so glad I approached Hanson Digital. I got such expert advice and help from Hunter, who works there. I’m amazed at the final digitally printed work Hunter made for me, because it captured the clarity and colors beautifully! This is going to be my go-to-place for digital printing for all future artwork!
