My husband and I love this place. There are so many items there: from high quality antiques to unusual ecclectic curiosities. The price is also very reasonable. There is no reason to spend more on new furniture of poor quality and has no character. David is very knowledgeable in European antique and has a lot of exquisite pieces from Europe. We love coming to the store just to browse but never left empty-handed.

Incredible antique shop with many hidden gems! The prices were surprisingly reasonable and the owner had a story for every piece. Highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for unique and timeless pieces for their homes.

Overflowing with beautiful, quality furniture. Legitimate antique store, not just “vintage” but antiques that are 100+ years old, including many authentic European pieces that are from Louis 13-16th eras and styles. The owner curates the items from trips to Europe. Walking through there feels like a treasure trove!

Found this store online and all I can say, is that it's amazing! Beautiful antiques, fair prices and the owner/manager is super helpful. Pieced together a bedroom that'll be passed along for generations. What a lovely experience.

I consigned several items with David at Grand Central Station Antiques and want to attest to David's honesty and integrity. We moved to Switzerland in Dec 2019, just before Covid hit, and entrusted David with the sale of two chandeliers, a vanity, and a couple of chairs from our Victorian home. He also helped us organize the dismantling and transport of one of the very large chandeliers. Now, just over two years later and despite the ongoing setbacks of Covid lockdowns and closures, David has managed to sell the last of our beautiful items. Though our contract had long expired in terms of time, he kindly extended it without batting an eye and mailed a check to Switzerland after each sale. Thank you, David! We couldn't have done it without you. If the world were full of decent people like you, it would be a much better place!

Now that I no longer have any more space to put the wonderful things that I find here I will leave a review to tell you that this is the best antique store I’ve ever been in in my entire life. The prices are unbelievable and the quality is exceptional. I love this store!

If I could give this store 6 stars, I would! I've thus far relied on craigslist for my antiquing, but last Sunday I went to Grand Central Station Antiques and had an excellent time there. They have a large selection of interesting and exquisitely beautiful antiques that are all in great shape and are surprisingly affordable. The best part about GCS Antiques is how helpful and enthusiastic the staff members are. Robert talked with me for a long time about the antiques and it is clear his heart is very much in the antique business. I put a bookshelf on hold as I left but later decided not to purchase it. I sent GCS an e-mail stating as much and received a very thoughtful and cordial reply. I just wish every business was as swell as GCS Antiques!

In love w this place!!! Robert and Jhovani are very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to antiques. They sell good quality antiques in the store, but the best part is that you can pre-buy/view the antiques that are coming in from Europe. Everything that I have seen there is unique!!! If you are near...you must stop by and be ready to be amazed!!!

Before leaving the Bay Area, my wife and I were doing a lot of traveling in Europe and caught the bug for antiques. As we began to look for pieces in SF, our favorite shop was GCS for their ever changing inventory and fair prices. The former due to the latter. I got to know Robert and Jhovani more as time went on, which is hard not to do since they're so friendly, and knew I wanted to go with them on one of their buying tours someday. Eventually my wife and I moved to Denver and bought a new home with plenty of space and I immediately signed up to go on a buying tour with Robert. If you're like me and could geek out for hours or days looking at these beautiful pieces wanting to know their history and provenance, then you need to go. Robert will take you around to some small towns where he buys and you'll see way too many things than you can bring home. Every day of the trip felt like a literal treasure hunt. Whatever you do decide to get, he'll help you get it home to SF, and in our case, Jhovani even helped us get it to another city working with me to navigate the logistics of PODS, packing, and city permits. These guys were the best I found in SF and I highly recommend making them a part of your regular treasure hunting route.
