Was excited to shop here for the first time and was prepared to drop a good bit of money on coats, but the lady in front made me feel so… profiled? I was the only woman of color in a store full of white women, all with bags, but she only asked to take mine. It was like as soon as I walked in, she clocked me and I felt under suspicion. I watched multiple other women in the store use their bags to hold clothes they’re going to try on and I thought seriously?See other reviews regarding problematic behavior. I recommend Designer Consigner down the street instead. I’ve always felt welcomed there.

I’ve been going here for years to buy, and every once in a while to sell. The store staff is super friendly but the woman who does consignment is always pretty curt and condescending so I won’t be selling there going forward.

A bit of a treasure hunt depending on what you're looking for. A lot of items in poor condition that shouldn't be for sale. But enough high end pieces that satisfy

I joined my wife as she went in to see what they have. She found some clothes to try on and a woman employee offered me a seat near the dressing rooms. While I was reading on my phone an old woman employee walked by aghast that I was sitting there. She publicly denounced me for everyone to hear, saying men are not allowed here and exclaiming “get out!” My wife became so upset during her speech we decided to leave. I would understand if they were selling underwear or I was in view of rooms with a blockade; but that wasn’t the case. Moreover, a female employee wouldn’t have told me to sit there if it wasn’t appropriate. I found it offensive and would have happily moved if she asked me in a polite tone.

I've been shopping here for 15+ years. Today I Scored a Lululemon long sleeve hoodie on double markdown for $10! Love this place and the excellent customer service.

You may find that the prices here are on the higher side for used clothing, but the condition of the items are worth the upgrade plus there are a handful of designer brands that would be way over my budget if they were brand new. The ladies here are always helpful and merchandise is organized well so you're not having to dig through racks haphazardly. On my last visit I scored two Eileen Fisher jackets in pristine condition for $125 each.

Love this store. What a treasure trove of deals! There is a lot to sift through, so be patient. Found a pair of AG jeans at deep discount - maybe was $120 off? They have a few ultra-high end things as well, if that's your jam!

Don't expect much. Buying is fun selling not so. Selling service is abysmal. Staff depends on whether they're staffed to handle your packages. Hugely disappointed and would have appreciated the opportunity to pick up what didn't sell. I earned $19 for hundreds of vintage designer product.

Not much here worth the money. Goodbyes has turned into a glorified thrift shop. Clothing are not washed/dry cleaned. Selection is really poor and largely dated. For the prices they ask, I would expect the clothing to be clean, and without stains. Surprising what they accept nowadays. Not worth the trip. Sorry.

One of my best friends brought me here a couple of weeks ago and I was amazed at the selection of clothes, shoes, bags, accessories they have. I ended up buying a pair of matching Moschino blazer and skirt that’s made in Italy and a pair of Hermès and Tory Burch sandals for a steal! Staff at both stores were very nice and helpful! This has instantly become one of my favorite local stores here in SF and will be coming back today to check out more stuff. Luxury consignment at its best! Come check them out!

Why is it I always find the best things when I bring out- of-town friends to this secret shopper store in Presidio Heights? Armani strappy sandals, a Max Mara silk blouse, a Goyard bag, Loro Piana cashmere and fur-trimmed winter coat... Well, that coat I bought for myself, a $4,500 coat for $800, appeared never-worn. Cashmere sweaters I've bought by the armful, ditto a classic St. John jacket and wool gabardine skirt. Shoes are hit and miss, usually in small sizes 8 and under. I've gotten lucky with shoes maybe twice. It's a consignment store therefore it's a treasure hunt. You owe it to yourself to check out their wares. The men's store is across the street. Go forward and be very smartly dressed - for a song!

TL;DR - wonderfully curated vintage clothes at a price! The first time I came here, a girl in the changing room told me she was on a budget because she did most of her wedding season shopping at another store. She ended up walking out of the store with ~$900 worth of clothes. personal finance goals?!?!? I'm not usually a super patient shopper (usually get bored after about 15 minutes of combing through sale racks), but looking through the quality selection at Goodbyes helped me enjoy the act of shopping for clothes again. Given the higher price tags on most of the clothes and jewelry, I really appreciated that they had changing rooms and a 1-day hold system. I nearly impulse bought a blazer-skirt set, but was able to put that purchase on hold, and come back the next day to see if it would go well with another outfit.
