I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience with both Goldwin products and the customer service that I have received. I emailed regarding a product question and was connected with Joe (a Supervisor of US Operations for Goldwin) and he is probably one of the most patient, helpful and kind people I have communicated with in a very long time. Not only did he answer all of my extensive product questions but he was actually willing to ship a jacket for me from Japan because the size I needed was not in stock in the US. If that is not the most wonderful customer service then I don't know what is. THANK YOU to Joe and the team at Goldwin ... you are incredible. The product I have is the Black Down Gortex Infinium Jacket and I am in awe. I have extensively researched and compared winter jackets and this one is absolute perfection. I could go on and on ... but let me wrap this up by saying BUY FROM GOLDWIN and Joe is my hero.

DO NOT buy anything from here if you expect to receive any normal sense of customer service. I purchased shorts online, and because of sizing (and the shorts not seeming to be worth the $120 price tag) I reached out to Goldwin in a timely manner to issue a return slip. They never responded. I reached out 5 times via email (and Twitter!!) and never got a reply. I issued a chargeback, and only then did goldwin respond to provide me a return slip. Being a nice guy, I lifted the chargeback and mailed back the shorts, following up shortly after to receive my refund. It has been over a month and Goldwin continues to tell me that they cannot process a refund as my bank has not fully lifted the chargeback. That is a lie, my bank has confirmed multiple times they lifted the chargeback. I am now reissuing the chargeback because Goldwin refuses to do business honestly and responsibly. I will never buy from Goldwin again and if you care about receiving even-marginally-acceptable customer service, you will keep this in mind before you purchase.

Great place to shop for equipment. Came twice to get fitted for hiking boots. The staff is very patient and knowledgeable. The selection is the best and they really know how to take care of customers!

If you're ever in the area and need some help with pretty much anything in the store, look for Jim (red haired guy with a scruffy beard) you'll usually find him in the shoe department but this guy knows his stuff. Great fella, considerate and understands budgets without compromising quality recommendations. Genuine guy who is there to help and get you what you need. I don't normally write reviews but this guy was worth it. Customer service like this is rare, seek him out. Trust me, you'll be happy you did.

Awesome place! Going here is worth the drive because you can find the same things at the mall for double the price! Perfect winter/fall shopping stop and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

Goldwin is a high-end Japanese brand that's just opened up their first Stateside shop here in Jackson Square. You might've heard of North Face Purple Label and nanamica. Unfortunately you won't find them here, but they get their origins from Goldwin.
