Just like all other review here, unprofessional, unwelcoming & non co-operative with their job, it’s a surprise how they still operate in today’s world with their rude attitude to customers, I would never trust them with my money and such banks will not last long, I would move out every dollar from this bank and never trust them.

Extremely Unprofessional staff, rude customer service, no parking etc. Got here before 5 pm working hours and they said we have shut down our computer and will therefore will not be able to process your transaction.They operate in a world where they think they are doing favors by keeping our money, I wouldn't trust them with a dollar.

Not a recommended CU. They have closed many branches, including a central location at Polk & Golden Gate. Expect to be charged for using the 3rd St location, $5 for 1 or 2 minutes over an allocated 15 or 20 minute time, even when needing to park on the 7th floor of the UCSF garage. If there is a Warriors or other event, you can't even park anywhere to use the ATM. Also, Golden 1 ruined the once easy and quick Zelle app. Expect deduction and statement errors. Patelco might be a better option.

Unwelcoming staff please don't ever go there they're very rude and dismissive I hate this location due to the staff that's it. Particularly the Ethiopian lady and the Filipino lady. I have enough people to leave a bad review on this location for a month straight but I will nt go that far. Teach your staff to be humble and not act like it's impossible to lose their job.

Have been here for 20 minutes trying to deposit cash into the ATM. ATM will not give me my card back. I'm running late for work. This is crazy.

Unwelcoming staff. Suggested starting a simple sign in sheet to get the correct order of THEIR customers to get service, and was ignored/ dismissed. People were standing inside the small space and in the doorway in no order, no line, and no direction from any of the tellers. Teller provided half the amount of what I asked and didn't explain to me why. I should have taken a photo of the line because it was a mess. I'm glad my transaction was simple enough because all of that made me not want to stay any longer. A business should be prepared to take on many customers especially when one of two locations closes. Need a sign in list to take care of customers in the order they arrived please.

Early in life I began to see the benefits of using a credit union vs "The Evil Empire" that is traditional large banks. And considering Golden 1 is the arena sponsor of The Sacramento Kings it was a no-brainer for me to put the few pennies I have safely in the coffers of Golden 1. To be clear my low rating is not a knock against the Golden 1 brand in fact its personnel is my main qualm. Banking while below the poverty line is always a humbling experience. Which usually ends in me lying up at night crunching numbers internally attempting to design a bridge that would finally allow my family and I to reach the shores of financial safety & security. But I digress... This location is notorious for what I like to call "snail banking". Where a simple transaction can take 45+ minutes. Look just accept my $11 & send me on my way! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Its almost as if by taking longer the bank tellers think you'll suddenly remember that wad of cash you tucked in your sock in some desperate attempt to hide it from an over zealous bill collector. Although there is a huge bright spot in the form of this absolutely awesome employee named Juuma. Who always greeted me warmly and make erased most of the shame of poverty banking due to her ability to make you feel part of a banking community. Alas even her presence couldn't stop me from saying I would never return after a visit in which I spent nearly an hour trying to set up mobile banking. Which honestly I really didn't want but after months of the staff hounding me about mobile banking I finally caved. Terrible mistake.... Quite honestly no bank in the world is going to refuse your money. And there are a good few POC that work at this location so the profiling comes from lack of funds versus what I would consider bigotry so there is always that which is a huge positive! Your money is always good here for sure. Being a POC doesn't seem to have a bearing on the quality of service you receive but it may have an effect on the speed in which your banking is done. As you can see from my other reviews I have not had the most pleasant experiences lately in The Bay Area...However! I write these reviews based on my experience so that others will benefit from the experiences that I have. But always do your own research!

Finally a golden one credit union office that isn't a s#&t show. Why can't all the other G1 offices be this together, kind, organized, competent, gracious and just able to do the job they are paid to do? Why? I Was able to make one simple transaction at this location without... Waiting for a long time. Or to be told to step aside while they figure out how to do the transaction. Then make me go to another bank to withdraw cash then make a cash deposit because that particular office can't do a simple debit card transaction. These issues are always at East bay locations. But this location is devoid of any of these issues. Unfortunately parking is very difficult around there. But at least when you go inside to do business it will be professional, efficient and courteous. That's all anyone can ask for. My permanent location from now on when doing banking at G1.

I've been with credit union since 2012 I've been going to the one on Polk Street but they have started a new one on 3rd Street just over the years ago from now. They are very nice people and they will work with you whatever issue you had or you don't have
