Words cannot express how much I appreciate Margie and the wonderful experience I have had with Goldberry over the years. Not only is the jewelry exceptional, but I really appreciated the personal attention and care that she shows. Margie went out of her way to help craft a beautiful engagement ring for me and make sure that it fit perfectly over the years as my ring size changed. Every time I have it cleaned, it looks brand new. I am forever grateful that my husband chose Goldberry for my engagement and wedding ring. Highly recommended!

My husband and I were born and raised in SF and have been married for 34 years. We needed a new wedding band for him. He works with his hands so his got dinged. It was such a blast to purchase our new wedding band from a fellow unicorn who knows the city like we do. Margie's selection is amazing and she was a joy.

The best gem at Goldberry is Margie Rogerson, the proprietor. Margie is a fount of knowledge about colored gemstones and sources truly incredible pieces at all price points. I haven't seen anyone with a comparable collection available for purchase. This is my second trip to Goldberry in seven years. Both times I have purchased rings and the experience was magical. Margie encouraged me to try different pieces and helped me narrow in on what I wanted in color, cut, light performance, and even the comfort and durability of setting. At no point did I feel pressured. If anything, I felt valued as a fellow colored gemstone enthusiast. My oldest piece from Goldberry is still in perfect condition years later, which is a testament to the quality of her work. I wholeheartedly recommend Goldberry to prospective clients. I, for one, will continue to be a patron in the years to come.

Margie is the WORST. Her jewelry is OVERPRICED for the quality and TERRIBLE CRAFTMANSHIP. The sapphire solitaire ring we bought from goldberry started rattling after only several months of wearing (I was extremely careful when wearing the ring). When we dropped off the ring at goldberry, there were no visible damages to the prongs or sapphire. Margie said one of the prongs was loose and charged us $200 to tighten the prongs. She promised the ring would be like brand new after tightening the prongs. When my husband went to pick up the ring, 2 of the prongs were obviously lifted away from the center stone and the prongs were uneven. Margie yelled at my husband saying it was the best she could do. My husband refused to take the ring. Margie sent the ring back to her New York fabricator to fix the prongs again. Then weeks later, Margie kept calling and texting us while we were traveling. She insisted on mailing us the ring despite repeatedly telling her that we didn’t have a mailing address while traveling. After we refused to provide a shipping address, she BERATED us over the phone. We scheduled an appointment to pick up the ring as soon as we got back to SF. When we showed up to the appointment, her assistant led us to the dark back room where she handed us the ring and told us to “just sign this paper and go”. Upon inspection, Margie CHIPPED the SAPPHIRE in 2 places and the sapphire was still rattling inside the UNEVEN PRONGS with YELLOW STAINS. When we asked Margie about the DAMAGES, she started yelling at us and locked us out of her store. Margie totally bullied us and the way she treated us was so humiliating.We brought the ring to 3 other jewelers to assess the damages. All 3 jewelers valued the ring at max $5,000-$6,000. Margie charged us $11,000 for the sapphire ring. In terms of the damages, Margie damaged and discolored the prongs so badly that the setting can’t be fixed, and the CHIPPED SAPPHIRE was salvaged. Dealing with Margie really traumatized me. Stay away from goldberry unless you want to buy poor quality jewelry, and get BERATED & HUMILIATED by Margie.

I bought a lilac sapphire ring from Margie for my now wife and it is the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. My wife thinks so too. Margie is very knowledgeable and easy to work with and has a great selection of stones and designs to choose from. I was so happy with my experience and her attention to detail that I had her design a wedding band for me and I love it . Thank you Margie and Goldberry.
