First time to visit. We were there for 30 minutes when the power went out and all merchants locked their doors closed for security reasons. It was a long drive from Monterey for a 30 minute "experience". It was no one's fault but I'd have expected them to have emergency back up power. Maybe next time....

My review is for the guard or receptionist or I'm not sure what he was at the front desk. He was so rude, disrespectful and unpleasant. We drove 40 minutes from the east bay to visit the shops there for the first time. My mom is visiting from out of the country and she did not have her ID on her. He would not let us in no matter what we asked or tried to do. We had a picture of it but it was not enough, she needed a physical credit card too. Which she didn't bring. I never ever encountered with such rules and such bad attitude. Sometimes there are specific cases were you need to decide to bend the "rules" or go the extra mile for a person who you clearly see that is not local and has only good intentions. Was very frustrating, the attitude and situation. This person should not be working with people. No supervisor to talk to or any other thing to do. He basically told us to leave. Will probably not return here again and it's a real shame. Was looking forward to it and came ready to spend and do some shopping. Big lose!

This review is for the Steven Padis jeweler. I gave three stars because they have an amazing selection and lots of salespeople to take care of you. We bought my engagement ring at Padis and the experience was amazing. We were showed many styles and the prices were reasonable. Fast forward 7 years later and the story is vastly different. The engagement ring needed to be repaired after being cut off in the emergency department. The shank had been cut and slightly twisted and three stones had popped out (I had the stones). I left the ring and loose stones and waited to hear from the jeweler. When I did get the call I was told my ring could not be fixed! What they could do for me was to remake the ring, wait for it ....... It would cost $2900.00. This just didn't make sense. I had them ship the ring back to me in San Jose. I took the ring to a small jewelry shop in Los Gatos. After a week I had my ring back. Fully repaired and beautiful at a cost of $150.00! For this reason I longer trust the Steven Padis company.

Highly recommend Derco and encourage you to support a locally owned business that takes care of their customers at every stage! Recently came in for resizing after many years since we purchased my engagement ring and wedding band. I was blown away with the customer service for ongoing support - I felt like a new customer all over again. Jack was so kind, helpful and very happy with my experience. Thank you, Derco!

The worse experience ever just getting in through security check. The woman at the front (security) was extremely rude and unwelcoming! What a horrible experience knowing that we plan to buy something expensive and a greeting from security that's yelling repeatedly....... I understand that security is separate from the jewelry stores but someone has to tell the security to either train them better or let them know about these complaints. We brought our IDs 'coz we knew this was needed so, the yelling was not about not having IDs at all! The yelling and rudeness was too much, worse than a busy day going through airport security check. First impressions lasts!

This review is mainly for the security guards in the front. I had made an appointment to shop for engagement rings with Yadav, which was a very pleasant experience, but I had never been to this place before. With that being said, I didn't know I had to bring my ID or cc. When I explained that I didn't have my physical ID, just a photo, one of the security guards rolled her eyes and had a very rude demeanor all around. After presenting the photo of my ID, they asked for my cc (which I didn't have) and again - the security guard rolled her eyes. I understand they have to take security measures given the place is filled with jewelry, but being so extremely rude to customers ruins the experience for a lot of people.

It's a pretty cool place with a bunch of jewelry vendors. Half of the spots are empty, probably due to the pandemic. Prices are no longer wholesale. Might as well go to a mainstream jewelry store.

Large and decent mall in a convenient location. I like the direct access to the Powell BART station. The hallways and overall design of the mall are properly maintained and pleasant.However, I have recently noticed some of the facilities (including many of the restrooms) are very run down and could use upgrading/routine maintenance.

I had bought a wedding ring from this place in 2005 for $16,000 in which I was very pleased with everything. Today 08/08/2021 I brought my daughter to shop for her ring but upon entry we were welcome with some lady name LIDIA STEVEN at the front and she was not pleasant and condescending and very rude. If I google "Idiot" I'm sure I would get a result with her face. We drove over 2 hours to visit this place and was very excited but was all ruin because her idiot ego. We will take our business elsewhere. Thanks LIDIA STEVEN you did not give us a pleasant visit...

this place is BS they entry process is so d*** what woman - when with their husband carries money ...... that is her husbands job - and yes I am straight up Betty Draper-ing but g m a f b my own id and my own cc to ENTER why would I carry that with me - my husband takes care of that nonsense our credit cards are the same my ids- DL PP and globals entry- on his phone so whatever I will take my $$$ else where sorry DERCO you lost a customer forever
