The owner Phyllis is an absolute delight of a human! Awesome selection of curiosities and antiques from over 150 years ago. Amazing service; what a wonderful neighborhood gem!

I hired the owner, Phyllis, to restore some old photos. She did a great job removing defects, improving the color and dynamic range, and extending the photos slightly to the dimensions I needed. I was impressed with the results. She was a pleasure to work with.

The only remaining antique shop in an area where there used to be many. Lots of interesting items and the store owner has a story for each of them. A one of a kind!

I came by here at 2 today on my lunch break, hoping to pick up an anniversary gift. Unfortunately, the shop was closed, despite advertising hours of 2-5 pm. I waited as long as I could and then had to leave to go back to work. It was a big waste of time for me. I guess you should call ahead to make sure they're actually open.

Was excited to visit this place. I adore all kinds of Asian jars and vases. Found one I really like. Got this treasure for only $25. Will definitely return. Just one thing: call before visiting. Because there was a notice on the front door about appointments required.

Yesterday was my birthday and I wanted to celebrate by going antiquing in San Francisco. I came across this GORGEOUS antique store that was run by the sweetest woman you will ever meet. She keeps her store so organized and orderly. 10/10 will be coming back!

What a wonderland this little shop is - little only regards to the square footage otherwise it is huge with so many little treasures displayed inside - it is so creatively organized that Macy's window stagers would be impressed - the prices are more than fair especially for some one-of-a-kind trinkets that you definitely cannot buy at a mall store / Another huge item in this tiny store is the heart of Phyllis - she is the original proprietor for many - many years who's knowledge is only matched by her warmth - she well versed in many subjects (without being a know-it-all) and more than willing to share this with absolute strangers / Strangers not-for-long as before you leave the store you just made a new friend - if passing by on Clement Street near 25th Avenue be sure to drop in you never know what you might find - there are "only thousands of baubles" to choose from - probably an item never thought of or expected - now that is a true adventure !

Phyllis helped me restore and edit a picture of my mom after she passed away. The original picture was only a 4x6 landscaped picture which she was able to scan and recreate part of her body in the picture to enlarge it to 11x14 portrait . It was an amazing amount of work and she did a fabulous job. She was extremely quick as she is a perfectionist and was able to get me the printed photo. No one was able to believe that this photo which was from a vacation picture wasn't taken in a photo studio. Great work!!!!

amazing store! I got some very cute feet-shaped salt and pepper shakers, and the woman who worked there was so nice. I'm sure I'll be back again!

When I get to a new city I jump at the opportunity to explore an antique shop. I've probably been over a hundred antique shops, most of which aren't particularly memorable. However, I will remember gaslight and shadows and as long as it remains open I'm going to come back every time I visit San Francisco. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, the offerings are well rounded but expertly curated, and the prices are reasonable. Of all of the antique stores I've been to, this is in the top 3. If you're looking for a high quality selection of small and medium antiques at unbeatable prices (sold by a wonderful proprietor), I can't recommend this shop highly enough.
