Imagine your typical hardware store: everyone is super knowledgeable, kind and willing to help. This is not it. I came in and asked for help twice while the staff walked around ignoring me. they sure were happy to see me walking out after 10 minutes, another customer ignored.

If you’re not white they pretend to not understand you, pretend to not know anything about tools, and not even at all pretend to help you.I came in with the pictures of screws that I need tools for. I even stated the names of the screwdrivers I needed. But the man and the woman at the cashier could not and would not confirm any of the information I provided.I immediately went to Cole Hardware on the other side of the city. Because unlike Fredericksen, the employees at Cole actually want to help their customers and make a sale.

Excellent Service, resulting from strong knowledge and actually caring about their customers. Gives them a small town community hardware store feel, with the inventory one would expect in a city. Love this place.

Our go-to place. A bit more expensive than your typical 'home depot', but way better to support the small business. They have a huge selection of items, niche items too, super helpful employees, and we always find more to purchase than we expected to buy originally ha! We're returning happy customers.

I just saw on the news the new rules to go shopping. I think it's a great idea to have one on one. I think it would be a good idea to have people shop by appointment only at all stores.. Maybe that's similar thing of what you're doing now I am not sure. It's for the safety of the customers as well as the store. I don't live in san francisco but I wanted to express my thoughts.

Been watching commentary on news regarding locking up the hardware store. can't agree more with why it has to happen. Hardware is expensive and your local store is an important asset in every community in America. one isolated incident of calamity and you'll all realize how valuable your hardware stores are. Theft is now a national pastime a generational skill a learned pattern of behavior. Americans can quit complaining, vote the creeps out of office who have opened up the prison doors, along with our southern border and filled our youth full of dope not hope. Wake up and take your country back don't wait start today and go support your local merchant who's trying to keep the merchandise on hand when you needed it. Most of us are honest and the people who run those stores know this and respect everyone of you who are loyal shoppers.
