This place is the best. Sokol has kept my 12-year-old Mercedes in tip-top shape for more than 5 years. I'll buy a new one when he retires.

Initial communication was through Yelp's "Get Pricing" quote. Sokol responded within 48 hrs. Which was a plus! First time taking my car in for service in SF, due to a change of ownership to the last place I usually take my car to. (It was in the East Bay) I came across this business through searching on Yelp. I feel like his quote was reasonable. Came in for motor oil & break fluid maintenance. Dropped my car off at 10:30am & got my car back at 4:30pm the same day! I also like that Sokol provides a list of detailed recommendations/reminders, because I'm definitely not a car person. lol. Thanks Sokol!

I’ve been taking my ‘16 BMW M235i to Sokol for the last three years for routine maintenance (oil changes, brakes, fluids) and unplanned repairs (valve cover & gasket leak, coolant leaks). He’s always friendly, tells me upfront what work is important/what can wait, communicates clearly, and completes the work on time. His quotes have been accurate and his prices are very fair for the quality of work and level of trust he builds with his customers over time.

I brought my 2015 Audi A3 here for a post-sale inspection. Sokol is the most honest, reliable and thorough mechanic you'll find in the Bay Area. Even though he is extremely busy, he is always reachable and he cares about his customers a lot.As long as I own this car, I won't go anywhere else for service. Excellent customer service, top-notch expertise.

I wanted a timing belt and water pump replacement on my 2010 Audi. So a coworker referred me to Sokol. Sokol not only did the replacement but also proactively provided me with details on other issues and their remedies over a video call. So he ended up replacing timing belt, water pump, vacuum brake pump and tensioner. All in less than 50% of the cost (TB and WP replacement) what two local Audi dealerships quoted me. I would definitely 100% recommend him to any German car owner.

Sokol is the best. He's been taking car of my older German car for years now and I trust him. He's fair and is too busy w/ loyal customers to try to rip you off or do a shoddy job. Highly recommend him but kind of want to keep him more a secret because he is always so busy!

Needed an oil service change for my '09 Cayman and I wanted to find a shop I can routinely take my car for service after moving into SF. I asked Sokol if he can check if I needed to change my drive belt, water pump and thermostat as a routine service. He found the hydraulic tensioner leaking a bit, front engine mount wear, some play on the water pump as well as a nail in the tire. He got the oil change done as I needed to make a drive to South Bay and assured me the car will be fine to drive until I bring it back. He responds quickly, got me scheduled quickly, and was able to give me cost estimate and the parts that will need work. He showed me all the parts that were replaced and the state they were in - engine mount completely cracked, hydraulic tensioner leaking. His price estimates were accurate, and all work done were very transparent even compared to some of the other shops I've been satisfied with. I want to make sure all the routine maintenance is taken care of as a peace of mind and the fact that Sokol found all the items that need attention while doing a simple oil change is fantastic. He gives back to the community and his shop is such a great find in this city. At first it is intimidating to come in with so many cars in his shop but he takes time to explain things simply to the point, gets the job done with great turnaround time, and has your car nicely parked ready to drive out when you arrive. I'll be taking my Porsche here from now on.

The owner goes out of hand to make sure I'm up to date to everything about my car, and also try he's best to save me some money. An honest man doing honest work for a fair price. Highly recommend.

Sokol and his team are the real deal. I've been taking my car to him for more than a decade and wouldn't consider going anywhere else. He's honest, super knowledgable, fast and fair with his pricing. I'd highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for a local mechanic to take great care of their Audi (or Porsche or Mercedes, I assume, although I've only ever asked him to work on an Audi).Services: Tuning
