Horrible service. I walked in with my wife and instantly theres an employee yelling at the top of her lungs at another employee inside an office with the door open. She yelled for a few minutes then went into behind the counter and barked orders and the counter angents. She then proceed to the back offices and started yelling at someone else. And yes we can hear hee clearly even though she is behind a wall. My wife tried to cash out her check with them but they charged her a $5 fee since she wasnt a customer with east west bank. When i asked why, the teller in a rude tone said "you can do it here or at your own bank". At this point we just wanted to get the cash and leave so we agree to the $5 fee. It is not so much the money, but the principal that got us angry. You going to charge us a fee for just cashing out a check?Only reason why we had to come here was because the check was issue from this bank and my wife does not have a bank account in the states yet. Never will i ever step foot in another east west bank. Absolutely disgusting

I've walked past this bank often when shopping at Cheung Hing or Three Star. I stopped by last Friday while walking my Corgi and I spoke with Mei who gave me some information on CDs. I went in today and Mei set up my acct for me. She was patient, informative, polite and knowledgeable. She took care of everything and got me in and out and made everything effortless. This is how it's suppose to be when you go into a bank.It was a pleasure, Thank you Mei

Do not accept an offer from a Buyer with an East West Bank Pre approval letter. I am approaching day 90 escrow and it still has not closed. The lender Alex Islas is the worst lender I have ever worked with. He does not return calls and does not give updates. Appraisal took over 30 days.

This bank is so friendly and welcoming. Tellers, bankers, and managers alike are all hardworking people who work in a team environment. What's great is that they're multi-lingual, speaking English, Cantonese, and mandarin. I hope their business success continues to flourish while bringing in new business - independent of the language you speak. They're highly trained in DEI (diversity, equality, inclusion) values. Recommend wholeheartedly with my utmost regard, respectfully so!

The staff of the branch (x St 33rd Ave) have always provided excellent services. They are very attentive, friendly, efficient & the accurate transactions give me peace of mind. Although their interest rates are not competitive among other neighborhood banks, the priceless customer service matters. Last but not least, to EWB top management, competitive interest rate are important to me as well so your low CD interest rate should not be less than 10 basis points to the neighborhood banks. At this stage, I value customer service more than interest rate until I reach my retirement age. Therefore, excellent customer service earned my loyalty to this branch.

The people at this branch were unhelpful and made it incredibly difficult to close an account - forced to go to another branch.

This is a nicer branch of East West. Although a little annoying that you have to buzz in. Overall staff are nice and sufficient. But opens at 10 every day?
