I've had a savings account with this bank for years, and I've watched my money grow steadily thanks to their competitive interest rates. The process of transferring money between accounts at this bank is seamless. I love how quickly the funds are available.Also, the ATM fees at this bank are very reasonable compared to others I have used. It's a small detail, but it shows that they care about their customers' finances.

Thomas Li and Eric Lieu at East West Bank are liars and cheats. They promised myself and my partner a significant loan on a commercial property, and after leading us on for months and putting down significant deposits, denied our loan. We have taken a 91K PERSONAL LOSS because of their negligence. They have zero credibility or integrity. As a long time small business owner in SF who has worked with many banking institutions and bankers, I would caution everyone against banking with East West, and beware of Thomas and Eric’s lies.

I’ve only walked into the branch itself a few times. They never have a long line and most of their tellers are friendly, nice people who can help you out with any issues you have with your account.

This site is only a few parking space. And the cashier is not so friendly. Totally, there is not a good service experience.

It's actually -500trillion if possible. Took my mom here after work for her to withdrawal money. And she received the worst and rudest customer service. It was close to closing time, between 4:40-4:50 when my mom walked in. But she couldn't. Because the guy (not the security guard) just a guy, a banker teller I assume, that had nothing do to probably told my mom she can't enter thru this door (main entrance), she have to enter thru a diff door. But when she got to the other door, it wouldn't open. So she came back to the first door and they refuse to let her in, as by now, they wanted to lock the door. She finally got in from the second door after they told her they're closing so they want to close the door and lock it so it's one less thing to do, go to that door instead. Mind you, no signs were posted on the doors that said the main entrance can't be used. When she got to the front to withdrawal money, they didn't have her profile. As she never withdrawal from this location before. So they have to look for a authorization pin for her and to verify it's really her, I can understand that. But, wtf is her ID and bank card and bank book for??? What I don't understand is who the HELL do you think you are to question my mom as why is she here at this location? How did she hear about this location? How did she know? Why didn't she go to other locations? How did she get to this location? Who took you here? Why did that person take you here? Like b***** she is a member of the bank. She have an account with the bank. Your location is on the banks site under location search. Your location is one google search, yahoo, bing, msn, safari away.

Bank hours till 5pm .. when I arrived at 4:45pm.. I got scolded by a manager or agent that I should come early and they locked their doors at 4pm.. I work and why should I get scolded for coming at 4:45pm.. They said on the glass door they closed at 5pm...I get off at 4:30pm..
