Very disappointing experience as customer service was at a loss. Initially, the staff member would not allow me to accompany my dog during his nail trim, who has an anxiety disorder, and was very rude. Furthermore, I asked if they could break change for a $10 bill so I could leave a cash tip but told me he could give me change in coins because they hold NO cash in the register? Also, I requested to receive a paper receipt but was offered an email receipt because he couldn’t connect his printer to the register?
Lastly, while we were trying to resolve these items, the groomer was holding my dog by the leash and the front desk staff rudely stated “CAN YOU GRAB YOUR DOG!” Clearly customer service was not expressed at all and will not be a future patron! .

We had an amazing experience having our golden doodle groomed at The Doodle SF! They texted me before the appt for current photos of my dog and confirming the type of cut we wanted. They definitely exceeded our expectations and did a FIVE STAR job!!! We were stopped multiple times on the walk home with compliments and our dog has been in the best mood ever since

Jorge is a wonderful groomer and his shop is fabulous! To hand strip a terrier is such an art and Jorge delivered!! He started on time and Stirling was ready when promised! We will be returning for sure!

Love the amazing grooming services of The Doodle SF!! I've worked with Jorge for years and he does a phenomenal job grooming my shih tzu... he has a truly keen eye for all the details, and also has a great sense for the dog's needs throughout the grooming session. My dog always smells amazing, and his grooms grow out very nicely... 10+ weeks later I am still getting compliments!!

Best doodle groomer in SF! Perfectly framed expression, bringing to life fun loving, beautiful, athletic golden doodle style. Admire Jorge and his team, and perfect patience with my dog. She used to shiver in fear when I brought her to other groomers. Now, tail up, happily trots in. Thank you!

The best groomer in San Francisco! Gabby was nervous the first time. Her last groomer was too rough for her. Jorge and his team took their time. She went today (3rd groom) tail wagging happy and relaxed. She looks wonderful ( all requests perfect). Happy doggie mommy and doodle!

The team did a fantastic job stripping our wire fox terriers who were very shaggy, as well as cleaning them up. We highly recommend these dog groomers for your dog's needs, they'll take care of them and are very responsive. Conveniently located off of Geary & 6th.

We've had two consistently positive grooming experiences for our poodle. The desired haircut was executed perfectly each time. The groomers are thorough, attentive to our dog's needs, and receptive to any special requests we make. We're thrilled to have found our permanent groomer with The Doodle.

MUST VISIT!! So happy I found this gem! After going to a different groomer who totally botched my mini bernadoodle pup's hair cut, The Doodle is heaven! Vaughn (magician) was able to take my pup's botched cut and fear of a brush and turn him into haircut envy of the dog park. He got 2 compliments on the way to the car! So appreciate that the team took the time to ask me what I was looking for, explore previous work they've done to ensure we had the same idea in mind. Upon arrival and visual examination, Vaughn gave me thoughts on how best to reach my pup's hair goals and the amount of time it would take. I received updates while he was getting his haircut and even finished early! He looks amazing and I could wait to go back!

DO NOT GET YOUR DOG GROOMED HERE!! My doodle was groomed here yesterday and when I picked her up I was told everything went well. Today I found a large cut above her eye. I was told to send proof of the wound to Doodle Inc., when I did they claimed the wound was old and needed more evidence. I sent more images and they said they can't refund the service or tip due to the contract that was signed. Not only is it disturbing to have your dog injured during a routine trim (not even a full haircut and she had no matting in the area) the dishonesty and misleading information has been extremely unsettling. Save yourself the trouble and go to one of the many respectable grooming salons in San Francisco.

My miniature doodle was groomed here yesterday and was cut above her eye. The most disturbing part is I was told she did great and everything went smoothly when I picked her up - it took until this morning when I found a large scab above here eye that she has been cut. Do not take your dog to get groomed here.

Vaughn did a great job with our dog. She listened to what we wanted in a groom. Our dog looked and smelled great afterwards. Very happy with Vaughn and The Doodle Shop.
