To anyone wishing to order from Discount Builders, I recommend Bobby, as he did an amazing job at expediting my ordering process, right from the start of our contact. Compared to other big brand home improvement stores, where I had struggled to gain correspondence, Bobby's service astounded me with his quick and consistent follow ups and ensuring my orders were per my specifications. I work in customer service, but Bobby's customer service is was still able to impress me. By the end of the weekend the order was in place without me even needing to go to the store, the online assistance was convenient and efficient.

I've been shopping here 30 years. Really, this store is no more expensive than Home Depot or Lowe's, even cheaper on some items. And they have many products you won't even find in the big box stores. Here you get service from people who are knowledgeable and helpful. It seems that Discount treats their employees a bit better than the people who hate their jobs at HD and Lowe's.Home Depot and Lowes are pretty odious places...I'd much rather do my shopping at a smaller business, not a mega corporation...it's good to see the small guy out-compete the Goliath for a change. The convenience factor of Discount's location is huge for someone who lives in the middle of SF. I've saved hundreds of hours coming here over the years instead of sitting in a traffic jam burning up gas going to Lowe's down on Bayshore to get ignored by mindless employees who run the other way when they see you need help......the level of ignorance and laziness down there is astounding. Better to shop at a place like Discount, where the employees know what they are talking about and want to help you get what you need. Everyone who works there deserves 5 stars.
