These guys are total garbage. They ignore delivery instructions and then don’t deliver saying they will come back next day.
Then when you schedule a re-delivery and leave your phone number and apartment number, they claim they attempted delivery again which is a LIE because they never contacted me all day today, they never notified me they were within 5 stops like their customer service said they would do, and they never left a note on my door either day! That’s how I know they are liars.
Who knows if I will ever get my package. How can UPS, FedEx, Amazon, USPS all deliver to me without problems but these idiots can’t even come close to doing their jobs.
I emailed customer service today but their customer service is apparently closed the next 2 days so who knows if I will ever get my package. Do not use DHL

I’m usually not one to leave a review, but this is ridiculous. Yesterday, I was home all day waiting for my package that never came. I received multiple text messages saying it would be delivered soon. I was standing out on my balcony when I saw the truck pull up on the side street and then promptly drive off without even getting out or anything. I couldn’t get down the stairs to flag him down fast enough. (Which I shouldn’t have had to do anyway but I thought maybe he needed help???) Shortly after I got a text saying that a delivery was attempted. There was no attempt. But fine. Maybe he couldn’t figure out how to get in the gate. So the delivery date was switched to today. And today, I get the same notification saying it would be here soon. I never got any follow up until I got a notification saying it’s been delivered. However, it was not delivered to my address, but to a locker not even in my apartment complex? It looks like it’s back at their facility but I’m not sure? After seeing all of these previous reviews, unfortunately this seems like a common occurrence. I did reach out to the email address they’ve been giving in response to the other reviews, so hopefully things will be resolved. I’d even be okay with taking the hour drive to go to the DHL facility to pick up my package(which again, I shouldn’t have to do) but I need my package.

The worst courier company in the United States. I had a package that needed my signature, so I waited at home for three days. I didn't even go out and waited for them to deliver the package. But I didn't even see their deliveryman or vehicle. It showed that the recipient's address had no response and could not be delivered. This is a company full of lies and laziness.

My instruccions were to ring bell 3 times. Was not rang at all!!! This is the second time they leave my box outside! Not even inside the gate, and once they delivered to my neighbor next building!!
Not even a text , instead they Added a picture in the first text were i had to looked and see the progress of the delivery.

The tracking says I have to contact them after they pretended I wasn't home yesterday. Guess what? I CAN'T CONTACT THEM. They've hung up on me while I was on hold for 10 minutes.
Called again for the "call back" feature...it's been 5 hours and no call back. Surely there weren't 5 hours worth of callers in front of me. They're just ignoring customers and holding their packages hostage! Terrible company!
Edit: If you email the social media team they were incredibly helpful. I received my package within 2 hours after contacting them!

Avoid DHL! They do severe scam & never comply with customers. My package was stolen by the driver & I was told that the package was delivered in a different location! After 3 days they told me that my case is closed because it was delivered in the right place! What world we are living in? They are lying & stealing peoples property so easily!!!
Our kids were so devastated since it was their back to school stuff Stolen by DHL!

Yeah, so they’re the worst. Every day delivery was expected I got notifications indicating things were on the way, the driver is a few stops away. Then suddenly, generally somewhere between 8-9:30pm, the status changes to “delivery was attempted but customer wasn’t home.” Meow. Three days in a row. Have been home the whole time. No doorbell ring, no knock, nothin. I even emailed to ask what gives, and they made up the excuse that it wasn’t immediately clear how to get through the gate—despite there being brightly-lit glowing house numbers on the keypad, right next to the gate. Maybe press the button, y’all. Maybe that? In a city full of apartment buildings with gates with buzzers next to them, as a shipping service, maybe one of the key elements of successfully delivering a package is to press the glowing house numbers on the buzzer next to the gate. But of course, really, we know they were never there to begin with. On one of the days, the trucks’s GPS showed it was parked at their warehouse building on 23rd even though shipping status said “we’re X stops away!” So, alas, I have no idea where my package is. And now I’m going out of town and basically expect it to be lost to the ether.

Basically a scam - DHL are reluctant to deliver anything, the driver will say "attempted" but they were never at the door, I don't think they wanted to walk up the stairs lol.
Pro tip when using their customer service phone number which is fully automated ask for "service representative" after the menu to speak to a human. I'll warn you now though the service workers will say things like "it'll be delivered tomorrow" but I don't think they have any view into what happens with your package.
I highly recommend you do not use DHL and seek out a decent courier. If you're receiving packages from a vendor it'd be worth asking if they can use anyone but DHL. I'll be actively avoiding DHL in the future.

I had 2 packages that were being delivered by DHL because it was coming from overseas.
1. First, this was an extremely quick delivery. That's the good part. I chose no contact delivery and left instructions to specifically leave it in front of the gate. Most delivery people from Amazon and UPS know to do this. It's common sense.
To my surprise, I came home and see my package on the 2nd step closest to the sidewalk meaning that a stranger could completely swipe the package without much effort. It was a high value package.
Also, I have a Ring camera that is in front of the gate so I could capture whoever comes up the steps. Because it was placed near the sidewalk, I couldn't even capture the delivery person on camera.
Honestly, if he had walked up 8 more steps to put it in front of the gate, this would have been a great review.
2. Another package left at the bottom of the stairs and this was a week later from the above experience.
Completely dissatisfied with the service.

The driver claimed my address in San Francisco didn't exist and couldn't deliver the package. Yet Amazon, USPS, UPS, and FedEx have no issues delivering to my address. I called DHL immediately, and they said, 'Oh, okay, we can deliver it tomorrow then,' to which I replied that I would be out of town and asked them to deliver the package next week instead, specifying a particular day. They've ignored that request and have attempted to deliver it every day since. After three customer service calls, their website still doesn't show that they will deliver the package on the day I requested. So who knows when I'll get this package. But I just came on here to say DHL in San Francisco is a clown show, and I would recommend never using them.
