I have had a great experience working with the office manager Genevieve Martinez. Insurance is complex and at times opaque. I have always appreciated how knowledgeable and helpful she has been in routine, complex, and urgent matters. She will always find the time to send a detailed email or call directly so my questions are answered. I'm very grateful for that level of personalized service.

I had the most amazing experience with Jessica Aquilar, Office Manager at David Chacon State Farm Insurance Agent. My life insurance agent for many years could not be reached so I googled and found David Chacon with the highest review in San Francisco. Making a long story short, after changing agent, Jessica helped me and my spouse with termination on life insurance cash surrender policy and followed up with the necessary documents. We would highly recommend this agent for your insurance companies because there is always someone answering the phone and they will follow up whatever the problems are. We’re now living outside U.S. and we are impressed with Jessica Aguilar.

Now I fully understand the other review below about being ghosted. I tried starting a new policy but they have been slow to respond or not even at all, I guess the good news is I dodged a bullet maybe you should too. Can’t imagine being in this when an accident happens.It’s a shame because the lady who helped was kind and I was looking forward to this good neighbor thing.Guess not.

One word the best I got my car broken into this past weekend and david chacon office (mayra) was so nice and helpful made this process so easy for me. Don't look any further if you need any assistance with any type of ins home or auto they are the best!!

Genevieve reached out to me to discuss the State Farm quote after I started the process online. She was helpful and even explained each item that I was confused about so that I could get the exact coverage I needed. Unlike other renter's insurance providers, she was able to work with me to adjust the coverage for liability insurance to $500k and add the HOA of the condo that I was moving into, so that my husband and I could move our stuff in ourselves and save money on movers.Genevieve really went above and beyond, and I recommend reaching out to her for any of your insurance needs!

Genevieve is great to work with! Superb customer service. She responded quickly to all my questions. She’s been great in getting all the information about my situation and presented me with insurance options that best meet my needs. I got better coverage for my house and 2 cars than my previous insurance and saved a lot! I’m so glad I met Genevieve.

Bertha and Veronica Both truly exemplify stellar customer service. I’ve had a lot of changes in the last year even though I have been a client of this particular state farm branch for about 10 years now, these two ladies have been very diligent and being patient with me and working with me throughout this last year of my ups and downs! They truly care and a lot of customer service positions a lot of people I engage with do it out of obligation but these two ladies sincerely care about the clients experience! I have troop left a great rapport and relationship with these two so anytime I have to call into the office for any type of assistance or inquiry it’s like I’m calling family!Thank you Bertha and Veronica for exemplifying excellent customer service!

I was GHOSTED by my agent of 14 years.David will be your "good neighbor" as long as he can sell you stuff, but don't expect an iota of help when you need it.I've been a decades-long loyal SF customer, until a month ago when another SF insured caused an accident and damage to my vehicle. SF refused to deal with my claim in good faith, and dismissed it before even getting a statement from me or a witness that was present.This isn't David's fault - But when I contacted him, asking if he could help me get the situation resolved, all I got was crickets. Several emails over a month to multiple people in his office were not acknowledged in any way, even when I finally simply asked to cancel my policies.Absolutely shameful behavior from SF towards an accident victim, and absolutely shameful treatment of a long-time loyal customer on David Chacon's part.
