Daiso is a large international franchise Japanese dollar variety store known for its vast array of unique and affordable products. It is a value driven specialty store chock-full of surprisingly high quality items for all needs, including Japanese inspired household goods, stationery, food, beauty, Sanrio character-type novelty items, toys, useful cleaning items, storage boxes, automotive accessories, decorative accents, and much more. There is something for everyone, including plenty of items one never even knew they needed. This specific Daiso is located in the Sunset/Parkside area on the mezzanine level of Stonestown, near the Target and right above the Apple store. It is a bit smaller than other locations, with narrow aisles and no shopping carts, which can make it hard to walk through when crowded. However, it squeezes the entire merchandise into the space, offering the same basics and unique items. The store features a beautiful display and has self-checkout stations that accept mobile payment, making it easy to use. Customers express excitement about its opening and note that it feels like being in Asia, confirming it has everything one needs from Daiso.
This Daiso is located on the second floor, right above the Apple store.

It’s a rather small store compared to other branches I visited in San Jose county, but it’s still Daiso. Hence, lots of cute and interesting merchandise. This is also the first store to have self checkout in Daiso I’ve ever encouraged.
