A gem for clever household items you might not have known you needed, especially stuff you might want in a small or crowded living space, so pretty relevant to a lot of people in SF. My cat adores the toy mice they sell at $2.50 for a pack of 6. There’s also a good selection of non-perishable food. The only bad thing about this location is people who cone in to wander through recreationally crowding the aisles. If you come here to shop, come alone and with a focus on your mission to avoid feeling overwhelmed (or I guess have a more chill temperament than I do)

They told me it was like Miniso, but they lied to me ?, Miniso is better. It has Japanese products ??, but the experience is from a Chinese store ??. They need air conditioning ❄️.

A real daiso... In California! Prices are higher than in Japan, and there is a fixed yen-dollar conversion table

This Japanese store is just like the American version of The Dollar Stores, but sell cooler and some cuties stuffs. Things are cheap and most are cheaply made.
They sell foods, snacks, kitchen supplies, cute stuffed animals, chair leg socks?, school supplies and plenty of other items too. Much stop by and check them out if you haven’t before.

Daiso is a low cost haven for snacks, home goods, and cute items from Japan! If you like stationary, gardening, disney themed kitchen and bath goods etc. You will love this store. Most everything is around $2 to $5 and you'll likely find about 10 things you didn't know you needed each trip.

Sadly the only Daiso remaining in San Francisco, but it is well stocked and well organized. How well stocked? Not an inch of empty space throughout the whole store. How well organized? Without knowing where a desired item is, one can wander around looking for it, find it, and checkout and leave in less than five minutes even when busy. Cheaper than Target, and often as good as if not much better. For example, the other day I needed packing tape. I had recently bought some from Target for more than five dollars before tax. No cutting tool attached. Ran out of it just a day later, and went to Daiso. Only $2.15 AFTER TAXES, I don't think they have ones with a cutting tool attached but it doesn't adhere to itself nearly as much and for less than half the price. I still have plenty of tape also. I'm not into the cutesy character stuff, so it's good that they have plenty of plain items to pick as well.
