Very unreliable, treat patients like second class citizens.Unable to keep track of inventory, telling pations to have Dr to call into a different pharmacy if I don’t like their business practices.

I have been going to this cvs once a week for as long as I can remember.the workers are always super nice and willing to help and there is nothing to complain about. dont listen to the bad revieEd.

Paul the Pharmacist and his entire Team are exceptional caring Professionals . They understand solutions over problems. Caring over indifference. The CVS Pharmacy at 701 Portola in San Francsico has the best customer service of any pharmacy I have been to in San Francisco. They are very helpful and efficient at getting people what they need without unnecessary waiting.

No wonder this place has such bad reviews. I was at self-checkout and my coupons weren't being applied. I ask the attendant for help. She basically came over and said the coupons have been applied. I asked for help understanding how much discount I am getting and she lost it. Started yelling at me asking to prove that the total was incorrect. I said the numbers look out of whack to me and she basically voided the transaction without asking me and told me to start over.I start over and ask her again why the savings don't show up as advertised. She lost it again and voided my second transaction too. I was being very polite throughout but she kept getting angrier. Very bad customer service

Just read all the reviews after coming for years. Here is the deal: Paul the pharmacist really cares about customers. And they solved the understaffing issue.They may not have a lot of time to chat, but I've had many complex meds and they come through ever time. I use carepass to deliver: sometimes Shipt is a little finicky but it's not the fault of CVS. -1 star for the company just giving up and leaving the plywood front door. I've been short with some newer staff members and later realized they were right and just trying to help, with good advice (use the barcode to pick up.) Yup, I hate lines too. I typically swing by for some take home dinner or lunch or walk to Mollie Stones for a tiny bit of overpriced groceries to get more done in a trip.

Mary, the counter person, was rude, unprofessional and condescending. Totally unacceptable.This CVS is the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with (I am a physician). I will be sure to tell my patients to avoid this location at all costs.

This review is for the pharmacy staff. I stopped by with a hard copy prescription and the clerk said they don't accept those anymore. What the heck?! Why not? I was so annoyed with that that I left. I have prescriptions there for many years and usually easy to get refills. I Googled if CVS takes hard copies and they are suppose to. So why is this happening now?

Call three different pharmacies. One of them didn't pick up, but this pharmacy picked up and really assist me in getting the medication that I needed delivered to me as well as ask my doctor for other prescriptions that I needed transferred. Overall the pharmacist was very humanistic, kind, and patient. I would recommend this pharmacy over others.

Do not got to this pharmacy!!!! They are rude and don’t care. They noticed my prescription that my dermatologist prescribed wasn’t covered by insurance. They emailed them instead of calling which is so incredibly lazy. I waited all day and the necessary change hadn’t been made. I called my dermatologist myself and it took two seconds. When I explained to the pharmacist that I was in pains he said condescendingly “ WHAT PAIN?? This is a blah blah. I had developed a very painful skin sensitivity from having the C. This treatment was recommended in extensive medical journals for what I’m experiencing, which Is painful. It’s disgusting for any medical professional to doubt a patient’s pain. Medical office managers go after doctor’s for this. Plus hello customer service CVS? Ever heard of it?? It matters no matter what business you are in. Nobody wants to give their business to lazy, rude people.

There use to be a Walgreens within the area but this CVS has replaced it because it is more modern and less hidden. Self check out is now is the way to purchase goods at this CVS location. I am just glad there is a CVS still in San Francisco after all the robberies which had occurred.

The pharmacy lacks any professionalism when working with people. I was in line and heard another person remark after an interaction with a clerk "I am going to Walgreens, they know what they are doing" and the clerk made a sneering remark as the person walked away. I didn't think they would be as rude with me as I watched the "manager" ask another clerk to train someone. But, I got the dob wrong and asked if she could look up any other way. Nope! Then she asked if I had insurance for my client and I showed her the two cards I had. She wanted a specific number that was not on the card and I asked her to tell me what the acronym meant. She didn't know but kept loudly asking me to provide it. I told her that yelling the three letters didn't answer my question. What is most alarming is the other staff were just standing around and laughing. I took my business to Walgreens. Buh bye!
